Lynninchicago Full Service Berkshire Destination Hotel
This local, yet full service New England hotel is a wonderful for stop over or destination travel. Located in the center of the charming ever evolving town of North Adams, Mass, the Berkshire Holiday Inn is practically in the front yard and a block or two walking distance from Mass Mocha contemporary art museum. The tiny town center has galleries and casual, laid back cafes, and stores to mosey around.
The location amidst the stunning Berkshire mountains is fantastic. My room looked out on the town hall building, and across the town up the mountains. Breathtaking!
Hotel itself is surprisingly wonderful. The service is not stuffy, but comprehensive. It's clear that the staff aims to please. They go out of their way to be helpful. It's full service, convenient, comfy. There are soda machines on several floors (no need to raid a minibar). Executive floor is lovely.
Restaurant, bar on premises (pm), on site parking,
Service is 5 star and personal. Enjoy!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lynninchicago My Exceptional Holiday Inn Home and "Family"
My 5 star personal experience at the Berkshire Holiday Inn was incredible.
I stayed on the executive floor during this and two other close and consecutive stays. Room was clean, lovely. View was beautiful.
What set this hotel apart from any other was the kindness, receptivity and graciousness of the staff and service. Everyone was great from front desk to housekeeping. Obviously, a beautifully managed hotel.
I came to the hotel to visit my parents who live close by the hotel.
While there, my mother suddenly passed away. I can only tell you that, although I knew no one in the area, the Holiday Inn staff were my friends and felt like family. They helped me in every possible way. Over the weeks I spent there in the last few months, I always knew I could count on the staff to go above and beyond the call of duty to help me.
Wish I remembered everyone's name, but I will never forget the exceptional Susan at the front desk, and Bill on the night shift. (Neither would even accept a tip for all their extra help). The rest of the staff were also great.
Love this Holiday Inn for the staff, service, location and comfort.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HappyGrandparent Nice respite from the cold winter
Our seven year old grandsons has a great time during a short stay over Christmas break. Fun in the pool, comfy room and "just right "restaurant. We were able to relax in the casual setting.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chris1964 Thanksgiving stay
We enjoyed staying at the North Adams Holiday Inn over the Thanksgiving weekend 2012. They did a very nice job of renovating/upgrading the hotel. The rooms are modern and nicely decorated. We had a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. The indoor pool was well maintained and clean and we had a good time swimming. The staff was courteous and friendly. We did not have a chance to eat at the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pillows and the goody bag I received (for being a Priority Club member) when I checked in. The location right in town makes it easy to go to restaurants in the area. You can walk to the Mass MOCA museum.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LongIslandFireMarshal Perfect Autumn Getaway Spot!
My wife and I wanted to simply get away for a long weekend and chose this hotel because of its location near Vermont, New York and Western Massachusetts. We could not have chosen better! From the front desk staff to the restaurant staff to the room cleaners everyone we encountered was professional. polite and concerned for our well being. We enjoyed three breakfasts ... all delivered as ordered at a very reasonable price and one dinner where we both enjoyed a dinner special of seafood fra diavolo. The service was excellent and the food delicious. Parking was free and ample and there were a great number of desirable places within walking distance. Thanks for a great experience!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love quiet room
Grateful that we were given a quiet room as requested, even though we thought being by an elevator would be noisy, it wasn't.
Everything about the room was great except we didn't have enough hot water when we took our bath before bedtime around 9pm.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Jose1234 Clean Room, but hotel needs work
We spent the weekend here and the room was nice. Location was great. The main problem we had was the lack of hot water all weekend and a staff which was was far from welcoming. No serious issues, but I could have stayed at a Motel and saved some $.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Angelo No hot water or water pressure. Way overpriced.
This is the same poorly constructed hotel that it has always been. Only now they have "freshened (?)" up the rooms and pulic spaces with new linens and furnishings. The rooms themselves are not bad. However, the new owners tastes in decorating the lobby and other public spaces are even more drabb, uninviting, and clinically cold in aura than the previous owners tastes. I should have called guest relations due to the fact that I could not relax in the room while steaming about the amount that I was paying for such a sub-standard product.
Taking a shower was a joke as well. Flushing the toilet meant holding down the flusher until all was clear.
I should have checked out and stayed in my car. I would have been happier in the long run.
I will not be back.
