Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stay somewhere else Hotel is under renovation. Hotel did not make any attempt to keep common areas clean. Hallway carpets were filthy with construction debris and the filth was present inside hotel room doorways. The sight of common areas being renovated was quite unpleasant to view everywhere. Our second night in the hotel there was a storm. The power went out all through the night, no A/C... We were on the fifth floor and it was Aug in SC and extremely hot. The hotel apparently has no back-up generator. The power was off almost all morning. Had to take showers in the dark in the bathroom with no way to dry hair without electricity. And we were trying to get ready for a wedding. Checking out that morning, I told the front desk how unpleasant our stay was and all they offered to do was refund 15,000 IHG points per room, which isn't even one night. I used IHG points and money to book the 3 rooms I had for myself and family. I dd NOT think that was enough for the stay we experienced. I will never stay at this hotel again. September 9, 2015
