The hotel has just come into the Holiday Inn Brand and am told it will be refurbished over the next 6 months. I would come again after the refurb provided there was no wedding on at the time. The Reception staff were friendly but the accommodation definitely needs that face lift.

We stayed over for a wedding nearby and the package included the taxi return to the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful with organising taxi's etc and tried hard to make it a pleasant stay. The main issue was that the hotel seemed to have 2 zones, one half was really hot and the other half (where we stayed) was really cold, with no heating. As we only really slept there and I prefer a cooler room we didn't bother about it but it was very chilly in the morning. Also one of the twin beds had no mattress cover on it and the bed was uncomfortable. The breakfast was ok, not brilliant. The hotel is dated and tired looking and needs renovation. However, the staff made the experience much better. The hotel served the purpose of our stay but I wouldn't stay for any other reason. The staff deserve better facilities to work in!

Broken sleep through the night due to heating system being under repair. Would not have stayed here if I had been informed prior to booking earlier that day if this information was provided.
Food was substandard for Holiday Inn. Very disappointed after a long day.
