Spent some time looking for a hotel for 1 night in this area and was not disappointed.

As a regular exhibitor at Crick Boat Show, this is the third year I have stayed at the hotel.
The first year was fantastic in terms of room, customer services, facilities and food. Disappointingly, the second year the bar food was dreadful, tiny portions, over priced and took over an hour to arrive and the bar wasn't busy!
So this year (May 2014), we were expecting worst case but I do have to say that food was exceptional. However, I ordered what I thought was the same evening meal on two occasions and the presentation was totally different. Not complaining though!
Whatever you are doing differently, keep it up for next year!

I stayed at this hotel on the 29th May 2014 and from the time I checked in to the time I left was amazing.
Excellent staff and beautiful hotel.
I would recommend the duck for dinner as it was to die for you - perfect is an understatement. Well done to the Chief.
Would stay at this hotel again.

Holiday Inn at Crick is easy to get to. Located just outside the village of Crick and just off the M1. Set in some nice grounds with a Gym and Pool. Nice big hotel, with bar etc. You are always well looked after here by the team.

Made to feel very welcome when we arrived. Staff all seemed to enjoy their job. We were able to relax straightaway for our weekend stay.

Overall a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only issues were a lack of available staff at the weekend which caused an hour long wait to be served with a simple lunch. I was also very surprised that such an establishment didn't have free wi-fi. This is now common in coffe shops and supermarkets! The charges for wi-fi were exorbitant.

A hotel is more than just a building and without service it can sometimes be a less than good experience.
This hotel is entirely the opposite. We stayed with two young grandchildren who absolutely loved it and so did we.
The staff were all friendly and helpful and from coming in the door at reception to leaving we were well looked after.

Perhaps I should have enquired at the time of making the booking, but at 6' 6" tall, my height was excessive for the standard length of the otherwise very comfortable bed.
Other then that, it was a lovely stay, accommodation, staff and food excellent. 5*

Totally enjoyed my stay, facilities and accommodation. Will be my first choice when staying in area. However I was disappointed by WiFi, the complimentary access for platinum members is very poor.
They said it wasn't their fault as it was maintained by a third party and it was a network issue beyond their control. However when you activate your free internet connection you can upgrade to fast broadband speed for £28. So this would seem to point to the free access speed being capped to make you pay for a decent speed.

Stopped here last year so knew it was a good place. Nothing has changed, its still very very good.
My IHG reward club platinum status was recognised on check in and I was upgraded to an executive room - Thanks very much.
The room was great, very clean and comfortable as was the entire hotel.
Ate in the restaurant and bar over the two nights I was there and was really impressed with the quality (had a Dinner, bed and breakfast rate which was tremendous value). All the staff I encountered were really pleasant and helpful.
Breakfast was good too, a good selection of fruit and cereal, my wife had a cooked breakfast and she thought it was very good also.
Used the gym early one morning, the equipment was all in good order and and had what you needed for a good work out.
Hope to stop here again next time Im in Northampton area.

The hotel is becoming a second home due to business commitments so it has to be good. Staff not resting on their laurels, if anything, going the extra mile to make it a very enjoyable stay. Change in laundry supplier is a definite plus and the willingness to accommodate changes to menu choice is greatly appreciated. Staff is the major factor here in Crick - must be the best in the Group!

Booked this hotel due to my preferred HI being full. Disapointing that my platinum status was not recognised, no upgrade as requested and no explanation or apology as to why not. The allocated double room was tiny and disapointing. Usual Holiday Inn menu in the restaurant so went for the special which was one of the best Holiday Inn curry's i have ever tasted. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. Its been about 5 years since I stayed at this hotel and too be honest it will probably be another 5 years before I go back.

On the whole this hotel is good, the room decor is of good quality and pleasant. Access to the health club is an enjoyable addition with good pool size. The downsides were that the double room that we stayed in was smaller than expected for this type of hotel, with just enough space to walk around the bed, only one person could move around at a time. It would have been adequate for a single traveller. Although there was a chair there was little room to use it comfortably. The bathroom had some broken tiles and was looking tired including the very thin and small towels.

I have been staying in this hotel 3/4 nights a week for the last 6/7 months after staying in 5-6 other hotels.
After a few months stay I found myself being allocated the executive rooms, this was nice as the standard rooms are very small.
The service from the staff has always been excellent.
The all around package was better than anywhere else in the area
However, in the last few weeks this has changed and now it feels like I am a first night visitor every week.
I understand there is a new general manager.
I get an allowance and rarely spend more than this.
It used to go further here than it does now and I am considering going back to one of the other hotels with better rooms, and most certainly a better gym.

As a frequent traveller it's always great to be back at Rugby. As always great service from Robin, Lauren, Sarah and James on reception. Staff in the bar are always willing to have a casual chat and Bryoni in the restaurant always has a smile for you.
New G.M introducing a nice few bits to brighten up your stay and open to idea's at the ihg evening.
Look forward to next time.

Having returned from a 2 night stay with evening meal and breakfast package, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Some of the most friendliest staff, who went over and above to ensure our stay was memorable. Food was fabulous and room very comfortable. Easy to find hotel and one of the best holiday inn hotels we have stayed in, mostly made so by the fantastic service provided and excellent food.
Thanks for a lovely weekend - can't wait to book again,

Second time I have used a holiday inn since bad experiences with a n other and again very pleased. Clean modern building, lovely clean room with all the needs. Didn't have time to use all of the amenities but looked spot on. Staff were very helpful and pleasent. Excellent, many thanks. Will definitely be again.

All you expect from a Holiday Inn is provided, the facilities are good and the food too. Guiness is expensive at £4.25 but don't let that put you off . The hotel is an old Post House so the bedrooms are a slight walk over the bridge by that does mean the bedrooms are separate from the hotel and therefore less noise.
Very close and convinent to the M6/ M1 junction noise can be heard from outside but I didn't notice in the room.

A fantastic service all the way round, from check-in to check-out. The room was well furnished and great condition. the TV was great with a good number of channels. I ordered the duck breast for dinner which was brilliant, and the drinks were great too.
I slept well and the bathroom was in great condition, with a generous offering of toiletries.
Parking was ample at the time though to be fair it would be as this is a quiet time of year hotel wise...
Its right near the village of Crick which is a small quiet place with a few pubs on offer
Its great for anyone in the Logistics business like me as its near DIRFT so for conferences and meetings etc its an ideal location

A great hotel with excellent staff,on arrival we were given an upgrade and made use of the excellent leisure facilities.Evening meal was fine and the buffet breakfast was great as usual.All staff were friendly and helpful i would not hesitate in recommending this hotel.

The staff have a customer focus, that is the hotels strength, they are friendly and very accommodating, a credit to the company.
The hotel is very clean and tidy, food is decent so plenty to be content with.
Some of the rooms are tired but that seems to be a Holiday Inn issue as they are better than other Holiday Inns.
