Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Never go anywhere else....an oasis just off the M1! This is my second visit in 18 months and I was pleased to see that all aspects of my stay were still of a high standard. From check-in to dinner, nothing was too much trouble which made for a most relaxing over night stay. I look forward to another excuse to return! February 10, 2016

Clean and tidy rooms, the bathroom has just been upgraded, I could tell by the smell of paint. As per usual the WIFI was incredibly slow. I use this hotel for business and it suits me very well. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not cheap at all for this type of hotel Not my favourite place in the world the room I stayed in was so small it was like a cabin on a cheap liner. The bathroom was shower only and paying £8.65 for a glass of poor Rioja (Faustino V11) Costs £5.99 in Tesco's was a total rip off. £14.95 for breakfast !!! I will now buy some shares in the company who own this hotel chain as they must be making loads of money. February 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Food very good but rooms far too warm Good service and friendly staff.Had two young children and we ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was very good The hotel was busy with a conference one night and a wedding on the second , all staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. On the minus side the rooms were very small and too warm . Such a pity as otherwise the overall stay would have been excellent February 4, 2016

We stayed for one night and was very impressed with the staff, cleanliness of the room and how quiet it was. We had dinner in the restuarant which was lovely, the timing between courses was great. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor experience due to a large conference / party I would normally recommend this hotel, being a frequent visitor, but this week was extremely disappointing. The hotel had organised a large conference and party. I was in a room directly across from this and as a result was kept awake until 1am. I accept that the hotel has a business to run and that conferences are a large part of this but I would expect the hotel to respect other guests and a) ensure these guests are positioned as far away from any conference room and b) warn guests before checking in / booking to allow them to make an informed choice and possibly rebook somewhere else. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poorest Internet Speed! Despite Platinum Elite member I was given a room with 2 x single beds - dissapointing. Things never got better when I arrived at my room to discover the key card did not work - back to reception. After settling in I decided to use the television - control didn't work - the cover and one battery was missing! Back to reception. Surely these controls should be checked before each guest arrives? The room was very cold and despite attempts to alter the heating controls it didn't make any difference. Finally the corporate literature in the room stated 'Super Fast Internet available free - the speed was actually 0.50Mb/s! Very dissapointed. February 1, 2016
