Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nothing too much trouble stayed over on a Friday night and we needed to leave at 7.30am for a coach trip nearby, the breakfast does not start till 7.30am so we arranged to go down at 7.00am and a full service was ready for us hot and cold food, drinks pastries and toast. All in all nothing was too much trouble. I stay in Holiday Inn Hotels on a regular basis and this is one of the better ones, the pool and sauna were great and the room was excellent. Also went into local village to use Co-op and Wheatsheaf pub, the staff and locals were really friendly and we stayed till after 11.00pm talking to them. June 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 8 month sentence I've just finished an 8 month stay in Crick and after 8 years living hotels this is one of the very few that 'work' if you live there for any length of time. It doesn't have the best facilities but what makes it exceptional is the level of service that the staff provide and the interest that the managers take in making sure that you get the best 'package' possible for your individual needs. I personally saw how they changed things following being asked for feedback from us. Good place. June 23, 2014

Bit poor having to pay for the internet when many hotel chains offer free wifi to their guests. Rooms need an upgrade but the cleanliness was great and I had a good nights sleep. June 16, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic room, facilities and food As a regular exhibitor at Crick Boat Show, this is the third year I have stayed at the hotel. The first year was fantastic in terms of room, customer services, facilities and food. Disappointingly, the second year the bar food was dreadful, tiny portions, over priced and took over an hour to arrive and the bar wasn't busy! So this year (May 2014), we were expecting worst case but I do have to say that food was exceptional. However, I ordered what I thought was the same evening meal on two occasions and the presentation was totally different. Not complaining though! Whatever you are doing differently, keep it up for next year! June 11, 2014

The only issues were a lack of available staff at the weekend which caused an hour long wait to be served with a simple lunch. I was also very surprised that such an establishment didn't have free wi-fi. This is now common in coffe shops and supermarkets! The charges for wi-fi were exorbitant. June 5, 2014

We stayed with two young grandchildren who absolutely loved it and so did we. The staff were all friendly and helpful and from coming in the door at reception to leaving we were well looked after. Perhaps I should have enquired at the time of making the booking, but at 6' 6" tall, my height was excessive for the standard length of the otherwise very comfortable bed. However I was disappointed by WiFi, the complimentary access for platinum members is very poor. They said it wasn't their fault as it was maintained by a third party and it was a network issue beyond their control. However when you activate your free internet connection you can upgrade to fast broadband speed for £28. So this would seem to point to the free access speed being capped to make you pay for a decent speed. May 19, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very impressed Stopped here last year so knew it was a good place. Nothing has changed, its still very very good. My IHG reward club platinum status was recognised on check in and I was upgraded to an executive room - Thanks very much. The room was great, very clean and comfortable as was the entire hotel. Ate in the restaurant and bar over the two nights I was there and was really impressed with the quality (had a Dinner, bed and breakfast rate which was tremendous value). All the staff I encountered were really pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good too, a good selection of fruit and cereal, my wife had a cooked breakfast and she thought it was very good also. Used the gym early one morning, the equipment was all in good order and and had what you needed for a good work out. Hope to stop here again next time Im in Northampton area. April 26, 2014

Staff not resting on their laurels, if anything, going the extra mile to make it a very enjoyable stay. Change in laundry supplier is a definite plus and the willingness to accommodate changes to menu choice is greatly appreciated. Staff is the major factor here in Crick - must be the best in the Group! April 16, 2014

Disapointing that my platinum status was not recognised, no upgrade as requested and no explanation or apology as to why not. The allocated double room was tiny and disapointing. Usual Holiday Inn menu in the restaurant so went for the special which was one of the best Holiday Inn curry's i have ever tasted. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. Its been about 5 years since I stayed at this hotel and too be honest it will probably be another 5 years before I go back. March 30, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room size would have been Ok if travelling alone On the whole this hotel is good, the room decor is of good quality and pleasant. Access to the health club is an enjoyable addition with good pool size. The downsides were that the double room that we stayed in was smaller than expected for this type of hotel, with just enough space to walk around the bed, only one person could move around at a time. It would have been adequate for a single traveller. Although there was a chair there was little room to use it comfortably. The bathroom had some broken tiles and was looking tired including the very thin and small towels. March 21, 2014

James & Chris for making my stay so welcome - ( after my appauling experience at the Nuneaton express branch on the night of 1/3/14.) from James welcome to Robyn's kindness ( Re: her involvemnt in trying to resolve a problem I had to bring with me from another hotel chain...) to all the staff I met.... was a pleasure to be on the receiving end of. You are all very professional! I was so grateful with the general standard of care - great room allocation & efficiency of the staff when ever I had a query/request Everyone I met was first class & I am looking foward to coming back soon I will be recommending your hotel to everyone going to the NEC or within that area. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Change of Manager I have been staying in this hotel 3/4 nights a week for the last 6/7 months after staying in 5-6 other hotels. After a few months stay I found myself being allocated the executive rooms, this was nice as the standard rooms are very small. The service from the staff has always been excellent. The all around package was better than anywhere else in the area However, in the last few weeks this has changed and now it feels like I am a first night visitor every week. I understand there is a new general manager. I get an allowance and rarely spend more than this. It used to go further here than it does now and I am considering going back to one of the other hotels with better rooms, and most certainly a better gym. March 9, 2014

Some of the most friendliest staff, who went over and above to ensure our stay was memorable. Food was fabulous and room very comfortable. Easy to find hotel and one of the best holiday inn hotels we have stayed in, mostly made so by the fantastic service provided and excellent food.
