Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointment Nice hotel in a nice place, but they managed to lose my laundry for 2 days, forcing me to buy new clothes while there, had an indignant attitude about it, blaming the laundry, and STILL billed me for it... Management seemed too young and overwhelmed. Will go out of my way to not stay here next time. October 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service, Awesome Stay I traveled down to Norwich for my brothers bachelor party to be held at Mohegan Sun. The staff at Holiday inn were exceptional. Had shuttles to and from the Casino large enough to bring our party of 12 there and back at all hours during the day/night. Front desk were hilariously friendly, they worked with me to ensure all individuals in the party that were coming at different times were checked in, so they did not have to worry about it upon arrival. The bar at the Holiday Inn was also Ideal for some late night beverages, service there was also great. My recommendation to those looking to have a quality night drinking and gambling at Mohegan is to stay here. They will pick you up and drop you off; let's you party hard at Mohegan with no worries about driving! wooohooo September 30, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Late Night Early Morning We arrived late on Friday September 25th. We had just driven an hour and a half from Gillette Stadium in Foxboro after the Ed Sheeran concert. We were looking forward to our 2 evening stay at the Holiday Inn in Norwich. We had stayed at several hotels in Connecticut in the past (approximately 8 times within the past year). As we arrived, though it was late, the person at the desk was there to greet us immediately. He was extremely pleasant. He told me of the IHG Rewards Club perks as well as the bonus offers. I was given my keys and went up to my room. I arrived to my room at approximately midnight. As I walked in I had noticed that the bed skirt was torn. I attempted to call down several times to the desk to let them know that the bed skirt was torn so that they did not think that I was at fault. Finally I reached someone and told them and they said that they would note it and housekeeping would replace it the next day. It was not a big deal and it was not going to ruin my stay in any way. We set out for our long day the next day at approximately 8 AM. We were gone from 8 AM until 11 PM that day. When we had arrived back to the room the room looked clean. The beds were made, but the bed skirt had not been replaced. Again, it was not a big deal. I went to use the restroom. Our towels had been replaced and were neatly folded on the shelves. As I was looking at the towels I had noticed that 2 of the hand towels were completely covered in yellow stains. My girlfriend and I were hoping that these stains were cleaner, but nonetheless we removed those two towels and the ones below them and placed them on the floor. When walking out of the restroom I had noticed several large scuff marks on the door to the refrigerator. I had not seen this at any of the prior hotels I had stayed at and wondered if it could be cleaned. I took one of our remaining clean towels and dabbed it with water and began to rub the door. I noticed that it was very easy to remove the scuff marks with just water alone; given the cleaning tools that the housekeeping staff has I would assume that this would be a focal point of their cleaning to clean the pure white refrigerator doors. Overall it was a good stay. The room was a bit dated looking, but it was still nice. Other than a few housekeeping tidbits it was a good place to stay. The staff was very friendly and welcoming when we entered and left the property. September 30, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Reunion at the holiday Inn Our 50th high school class reunion was held at the Holiday Inn in Norwich. The service and buffet supper was excellent. The bar staff was excellent. The overnight accommodations were excellent. We had a great time. September 26, 2015
