Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Comfortable and pleasant stay I was made welcome and comfortable and would stay again in this hotel. Feedback would include:- 1 - my room TV's inability to "register" for viewing blockbuster movies 2 - the unpleasant surprise in finding that the delivery of a room service meal cost an additional £5 3 - the price at check-in exceeded that offered for online booking May 21, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by shabby but clean Room was clean but shabby, furniture scuffed, toilet handle almost falling off. TV not plugged in. Only one bedside table so used a chair instead. Staff attentive and courteous. A staff member tried to find another bedside table but as the hotel was full he was not successful. May 20, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Needs a revamp but beds comfortable We stayed here just one night and felt that the hotel was a bit dated and was in need of a revamp. The rooms were adequate but the bathrooms very small and dated. the bed however was very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. We were very disappointed to find that in this day and age a £5 per hour charge was made if we wanted to use the wifi in our rooms, very few places we have stopped in recently make any charge, it should be free. The breakfast was average, a help yourself buffet, which was reasonably hot, but there could have been a bit more choice. May 20, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by WORST WEEKEND AT NORWICH HOLIDAY INN As regular users of the hotel each May, we were disappointed at the standard provided in the dining room. 2 large coach parties overwhelmed the quality we have always come to expect from this hotel. I hope management learns from their shortfall and rectifies the problem of insufficient staffing levels to cope with the number of guests. May 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant on the Whole Good room with all the facilities I needed. The staff need some more training in how to deal with guests. The lady on reception simply rattled off her well-rehearsed script and failed to really communicate with me - she just wanted to get me sorted and away from the desk. There were insufficient staff serving at breakfast - the welcome desk was unattended and tables remained uncleared. May 15, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overnight stay We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Ipswich road along with family and friends celebrating a birthday. The hotel is well equipped and the service we received was excellent. The rooms are positioned well away from the function rooms so noise was not a problem for other guests. Being a IHG member we received free internet services, which was great because the standard Wi-Fi charges are extremely high. The only other negative comment I would make is that the TV channels did not include BBC3 and BBC4. Overall we had a great time and didn't visit the hotel to watch TV ! May 10, 2015
