Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff and poor breakfasts Stayed multiple times and the staff are friendly and attentive as always. However the quality of ingredients used for breakfast are substandard and best avoided. It would be nice if there was more choice at breakfast. The outside building is in dire need of cleaning and upkeep. November 23, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 time for a change i have stayed here every three weeks for 6 months, and yet unless one particular receptionist checks me in I am made to feel like a complete stranger. As I need to stay somewhere in Norwich regularly I was looking forward to feeling at home after a few visits, however the whole reception experience is bland and uninviting. The rooms are fine, and the food is ok except that I would really prefer to eat in my room but the £4 tray charge makes it too expensive for my meal allowance. What has finally made me look elsewhere was breakfast last Wednesday.There was a coach trip of senior citizens having a lovely time, but there were no extra staff, everything ran out, no coffee served, people were constantly asking for tomatoes, butter, bread. Up to this point breakfast had been the highlight of my stays but not this time. I have enjoyed getting to be a gold member of IHG but the points cannot be more important than the quality of my stay. Bit noisy, kids running round, and a party by the bar in the evening was also noisy but you can't help either of those. November 12, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Business stay last week Stayed here a few times. Hotel is ok but let down again by staff. Asked for a taxi at 8pm. Planned to pick up colleagues in Norwich and the travel on to resteraunt. Came down and waited .... At 8:10 politely asked where it was. Staff who seemed oblivious said another 10 minutes ! I already had phone calls asking from colleagues asking where I was as they were standing in pouring rain waiting for me .... In the end got in my car and drove to get them. Poor. November 11, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not Bad I have started to stay at this hotel and am doing so for the next 6 months with business. The hotel itself is pretty OK, could do with a room makeover, although the bathrooms look pretty recently renovated. In room dinner is quite poor, always tepid and just OK. Breakfast hardly gets delivered when requested. Pool also appears to be dirty. November 1, 2015
