Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great breakfast!! As always an excellent Holiday Inn breakfast. My only niggle about this property is that from reception you have to go up several steps to access any of the bedrooms which can be a bit of a hassle with heavy suitcases. April 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Functional as opposed to Fancy Pros: Really comfortable bed, spacious room and good quality tv. All staff very friendly and helpful. Very little noise from other guests heard. Usual good quality breakfast selection. Cons: Our room was quite a walk from reception, as property is spread out across low levels. Very suitable for overnight stay when passing through. I would use this offer again April 29, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average Hotel for this group in need of refurbishment. As a Platinum Rewards Member, I expect a little more from my IHG hotels and staff. Reception friendly enough. No offer of a Room upgrade, which is usually Mandatory at my membership level, but not really sure if this hotel actually has any Executive Rooms or Suites ??? Car park half empty, so they weren't that full. Restaurant too small for the hotel and so overspill is into the bar area. Several requests later, managed to get the TV switched over to the sport and turned up so it could be heard in the bar. Starter came and no utensils issued so had to ask !!! Then when my plate was taken away and the Steak came, I had to ask again for another knife and fork ! Unbelievable ! It's a long time since I stayed at this particular Holiday Inn, I'd usually stay in Nottingham, and I couldn't remember why I'd not stayed here. I know now. April 27, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place to stay After a previous not to good experience at this hotel I was a bit reluctant to book again but I found out on arrival there had been a change of manager and what a difference it has made. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as there has been a vast improvement on the service I received. Ok there are certain areas where it could do with refurbishment but it is clean and the rooms are big enough. April 20, 2015
