Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 good location, restaurant and bar, but bad lighting in the room Excellent location of hotel. Good restaurant and bar. Comfortable bed. But bad lighting in the room. The general lighting isn't present - there are only dot lamps with weak energy saving lamps which give not enough light. It was inconveniently to read in a bed and to work at a table. Bulb in a corridor and the floor lamp didn't work. I told about it at reception, but nothing was made . The small refrigerator in the room (mini bar) didn't work too. February 17, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable room and bed, good service room is comfortable and clean. But the shower in the bath room is easy to cause the water goes out to the floor. January 6, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quality hotel with great service Of all the "Holiday Inn" branded hotels I've used in Europe in recent years the Nurnberg City Centre hotel has been the best by far. A modern, comfortable and quality hotel maintained to a very high standard. Excellent breakfast - worth paying the extra for! The only negative comments (very minor) concern the internet facility in reception area – could not access emails; some occasional street noise, minor, in the early hours from people talking as they pass near by, which is to be expected in a city centre. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Repeat customer Location is a few minutes walk from the heart of the city. Staff is quite friendly, the breakfast restaurant staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient. Definately worth the money. January 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well located, clean and spacious My sister and I stayed here for 2 nights in late November to visit the Christmas Markets. It is an easy walk from the train station, though we did manage to get ourselves lost, don't head towards the shops, head in the opposite direction. Upon arrival the check in staff were very helpful and welcoming. Our room was spacious, comfy and clean. The two best points about it was the fact the window opened, and you could safely leave it open (we found the room a little too warm and couldn't seem to reduce the temp) and also the shower, by far the best shower we came across during our holiday. We also received two complimentary drinks in the minibar The hotel's location is convenient, only about a 5-10minute walk from the U bahn station though we walked everywhere we needed to go and the Christmas markets were only a short walk away also. We didn't eat at the hotel, and instead chose to have breakfast at one of the many local bakeries/cafes that are near by. January 3, 2013

January 3, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location Within walking distance of the train station and just inside the wall, this hotel is within an easy walk to the city center. Parking is indoor and very reasonably priced - just 11 Euro. December 18, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice and clean hotel We had a very good stay at this hotel as is was located close to the train museum and within walking distance of the Christmas market. The food at the restaurant was good but there was not a big selection. It was also really nice to have access to the parking garage without going outside. I would highly recommend staying at the Nuermberg Holiday Inn. December 14, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Location - easy to walk to city sights We spent 2 nights at the hotel for the 2012 Christmas markets. From the train station it was perhaps a 10 minute taxi ride (I suppose one could walk, but, the meandering streets could easily get you lost). In spite of it being the first weekend of the markets, the checkin was smooth, and the line moved quickly. The hotel is perhaps a 10 minute walk to the main center - and an easy one at that. We did not include the breakfast in our rate - we had heard from friends who stayed previously, that the buffet is large, and since we usually eat oatmeal and fruit, we knew it would be a 'waste' of money for us. However, we did look at the buffet and there were many items to choose from, so if you do decide to take the breakfast option, you should not be disappointed with choice. We did eat in the restaurant our last evening, and were pleasantly surprised with the quality and serving portions of the meal. We rarely eat in a hotels' restaurant while traveling (both domestic and overseas), but we were simply too tired and did not want to pull on our heavy coats, etc. and venture outside. The service was very good and attentive. And, the prices were not outrageous - even better! The hotel has WiFi - BUT - if you want it free, you can obtain a code that is good for a few days use, and it can ONLY be used in the lobby - by the computer stations. You can use it for your own device, or, you can use the hotel lobby computer (no code required for them) , but we found the lobby computer slow. I used the code on my KindleFire and had no problem accessing email, we, etc. Our room was set up with 2 twin beds - but, we simply pushed them together to make a queen size bed. The duvet/comforter was cozy and kept us warm all night. The only 'problem' we had was the heating system in the room - it would not go above 20C (roughly 69/70F). We had maintenace attend to it, and he was unable to make it higher as well. It would have been nice to add another two degrees just to make the room a bit warmer, but... The room was large, the bathroom amenities (shampoo, bath gel, soaps) were plentiful, there is a decent hair dryer, closets were good. The staff at both the front desk were patient with the guests - answering the questions of all the tourists. The restaurant staff also were most helpful, explaining menu items, suggesting items, and pleasant and patient. The Holiday Inn is a great choice for your stay in Nurnberg. December 9, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent hotel My wife & I stayed at the Holiday Inn Nuremberg last week. This hotel is conveniently located within the historic city walls & close to all the city attractions, I recommend this hotel without any hesitation....for the attention the staff give to the clients, for the super cleanlinless of the rooms etc, for the rich breakfast offered, for wifi connections.....and for those who like me have a car, the location is good to move about and out of the city. We will return to this hotel. Thanks to all the staff @ HI City Centre Nuremburg. December 8, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent front desk service. We had a wonderful time and would walk to everything. We stopped every morning at the hotel main desk to find out what we needed to know, to order a velo cab or other sight-seeing arrangements and recommendations. The only complaint is that the breakfast was very good......excellent assortment of all sorts of foods but we had no idea how expensive it was. Each morning we stopped in for coffee, cereal, bacon and fruit and we left a $3.00 Euro gratuity for the staff. We were shocked to find out what we were charged for this breakfast. Although it was a wonderful, fresh breakfast, there is no way that we would have eaten here knowing that it cost us as much as our dinners typically cost us. It was too expensive for the little that we ate each morning. October 22, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Good stay Although a little difficult to find by car, a very pleasant stay and well looked after as a Priority Club member. Very close to a comprehesive shopping centre. October 17, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Zimmer und Lage gut - Service? October 16, 2012
