Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall a good stay!! Came to the area to pick up my son from Sweden and decided to spend the weekend in Chicago. Hotel staff when we arrived was very courteous and professional. It did not take long to check in, which was very nice. I had reserved an Executive Suite room for the weekend because I was under the impression that it slept 4 people as the website stated. However; when we got to our room there was only the king bed and a love seat couch. I called the front desk to inquire about a rollaway bed and was told they didn't have any. So, my daughter had to sleep on the couch, which would have been fine if it wasn't made out of vinyl that makes a person sweat. I liked the fact that check out was at noon, it gave us plenty of time to sleep in a little before heading to the airport on Monday. Room was clean, toilet and shower. However; the shower was extremely slippery when I first got in. Other than not having a place for my daughter to sleep the only other complaint would be the elevator noise that we could hear through the walls because of where our room was located. That got a little annoying. The hotel is in a great location, price was better than most and it was clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. We would definitely return, but would call to make sure there was enough places to sleep. May 28, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Cold Showers and Dirty Towels After a long drive, you want to be able to take a hot shower and freshen up. You look forward to clean fluffy white towels, great water pressure and a change of scenery. Out of the four times I tried to take a hot shower, the water never got hot and management did nothing about it. Before I could even get settled in I had to call for new towels because the ones I had were dirty. The General Manager didn’t have the decency to return any of the three or four phone calls, two voicemails, or the few notes left by his staff regarding it. The staff claimed the Manager of Maintenance looked at the room and didn’t find an issue so there wasn’t anything that can be done. However, we were told he would review it while we were there and he conveniently waited until we checked out to go to the room. I recently joined IHG Rewards and did so because my traveling is expected to increase significantly. At the least, they should’ve recognized that and done their part to ensure my first experience was one to remember. The Good: The ambiance down stairs was nice and clean. Check-in was efficient and easy. The elevators worked and smelled like they had been recently cleaned. The drinks made at the Bar were great and the pathway outside was a unexpected nice and quiet getaway. May 28, 2015

Was staying for business but we all had different priced bills even though we booked at the same time. Parking can be a challenge if leave during the evening hours because the bar is so busy. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good luck finding parking Overall I give it a 4 out of 10. The focus of this site must be the bar crowd. If you left the parking lot it was highly unlikely you would find a parking spot until the bar closed. Then you had to deal with all the drunks throwing bottles and cans, all over, in the parking lot. The rooms were somewhat on the dirty side and very poorly lit. The shower did have nice pressure and the rooms heat and air worked well. The housekeeping staff was poor and had to call frequently for toiletries since they would fail to leave them in the room. The elevator had many issues during my 4 week stay. Overall the building seems antiquated and in need of remodel. If your on a time line I wouldn't suggest eating in the dining room. The laundry had a single washer and dryer for the entire building which if you needed to do laundry I found 4 AM to work best. May 22, 2015
