Room service was terrible. Had to wait 2 and 1/2 hours to get my dinner. When going down to breakfast service could have been better and food was luke warm.

I love staying with you because i'm greeted well when i arrive, my room is spotless, the beds are comfortable and clean and the bathroom couldn't be set up any better. I always enjoy staying there whenever i travel to Ocala.

I walked into the room, and it smelled amazing. Everything was so clean and wonderful. The staff were so warm and welcoming. The bed felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. I would definitely stay here again for another romantic getaway.

Overall this was a positive experience. Our room had 2 double beds. We would have preferred a single King. When requested a change, the clerk (without checking or looking) said there were no Kings available.
Not crazy about their new Bistro concept, but I'm sure others may like it.
Otherwise it was a good experience.
Happy to have refrigerator and microwave in room.

This location in Ocala, Fl was very inviting and comfortable. The main reception area decor was upbeat and the staff was outstanding with friendliness and service. Our room was pleasant and the beds sooo comfy. It's always a pleasure to have a good nights rest. Looking forward to staying there again this coming summer.

Last year when we stayed here, we found the staff to be absolutely great. This year, we thought they were very nonchalant. Last year they gave us a free water and snack since I am a rewards member. This year they didn't even acknowledge my membership. Every other H.I. has offered something, but not here.

I was very disappointed in having to walk down to the indoor hot tub to find it was closed. I have stayed at this hotel many times and the indoor hot tub and steam room was a large reason. After spending the day in the Ocala forest on ATVs, I was looking forward to relaxing. I did not see any mention on the website to the closure and this was not mentioned when I checked in. I immediately went to the front desk to inquire why it was closed and they mentioned the fire. I told the clerk I was very disappointed and the gentleman checking in at the time overheard my conversation and was also not very happy. The clerk said we could use the sister location on the other side of the interstate. This time of the year was very cold and I did not want to travel in wet clothes. I asked for the manager and he said he would refund my room and we could go elsewhere. I thought this was very short since I prepaid for my room and had already unpacked for the evening. It was eventually mentioned that they had a king suite with a hot tub in the room. I told the manager that I needed the two beds for my son and myself and after negotiating, we got the key for the use of the hot tub room and stayed in our room. The other gentleman did take the king room upgrade to get the hot tub since he was traveling alone. I stay at this hotel every time I am in the Ocala area and I am a priority club member but this experience was not the most favorable one. I had to come up with the idea for the use of the king room and I felt the manager was put off by the whole affair.

The staff has to be the rudess in making reservations. The check in staff and night manager the worst for customer service. I reserved 3 room to attended a funeral and was charged the same rate for each room. Your manager was not willing to change rates or even suggest any discounts. I will not be coming back to this hotel and be treated by this staff. I travel a lot and this has been the worst. I'm even considering changing hotels during my travel. I fact I did change 3 more nights for another hotel.

When we arrived at the motel, Katie the desk clerk was very efficient and friendly. Our whole check in process took about 1 minute. The room was clean, inviting and we loved it! I would recommend it to anybody and look forward to going back again!

Alittle disappointed that I had to call several times to this property to see if it was the one I was looking for ( had described the lobby) and the staff member was oblivious to what the hotel corridor looked like. It took me having to call your sister hotels to get the right one (which turned out to be yours). The room with its beautiful nautical theme was warm and inviting but alittle too dark. My biggest complaint was the bed. Very uncomfortable. I would stay here again but maybe for one night. I don't think our backs can take it.

My wife and I always stop here on our trips in and out of Florida. I am always recognized as a platinum member and given an upgrade. They have great beds (temperpedic mattresses). The staff is always friendly and the hotel is kept in great condition.

We travel to Florida often. We were in Ocala for a wedding and stayed at this property for 4 nights. We booked two rooms (1- 2 bed double & 1 king suite). Excellent service, friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds, great pool, great coffee. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit family in the area. Keep up the great work with your hotel.

What a wonderful surprise! We stayed overnight at this hotel on our way home from the Keys. The decor is upscale but comfortable and unique. Tempurpedic bed was to die for after our long trip. A gift box of cookies and bottled water was given to us on arrival. There is a seemingly very popular asian restaurant on site. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Ocala FL. for the first time and from that day on, whenever I am in Ocala for future trips, that will be the Hotel of my choice to stay in if rooms are available. Everything about this Hotel was just great, I am a picky person when it comes to staying in an Hotel, but the Holiday Inn went way over my expectation. The Beds were so comfotable, everything in the suite was very clean, in place and just have a relaxed feeling to it. In the Hotel itself has many sitting area for just hanging out. Wonderful Hotel and I look forward to staying there again. One last thing, the price we paid for staying there is a price you could not beat, great place for that price.

When I could not find a luggage cart to bring our bags up to our room, one of the young attendants offered to carry our things up for us. He was extremely professional and helpful considering that my husband is handicapped and could not help with moving our personal belongings. This is the second time we have stayed at your facility and it will not be the last. Thank you!

This is a conference center and alot of activity into the night, weddings or activities. Beautiful hotel and bar is on the top floor.the wedding fun went on even after we called the front desk for the neighbors to stop slamming their doors at 10pm. This would be ok, but we had driven from North Carolina and were very tired.The garbage was still there the next morning and the front of the hotel itself made it look rather low grade. Easy to get to and many places to eat in surrounding area.

Room was as clean as if it were brand new... The bed is one of the most comfortable I have EVER slept in.Over all atmosphere was excellent... VERY friendly staff...
Seems as the handicap parking was thrown in as an afterthought. With no real concern for handicap persons. After I finally found the handicap parking, I decided to park in front in the center of the parking lot...

I travel extensively on business. Fortunately, this latest travel itinerary actually included a few days to relax before traveling to the next destination. I have never stayed at a Holiday Inn before - always one of the "other" guys. I found this hotel to not only be equal to, but in many areas even superior to those "other" guys. During all of my years of traveling, nationally and internationally, one of my biggest complaints everywhere I stay is that I can hear the people in both rooms on either side of me. This can be quite annoying when you need a good night sleep for an early morning meeting. However, NOT in this hotel. I was on the fourth floor and had guests on either side of me. I never heard either one of them, no blaring TV sets, no doors opening and closing - this must be the best insulated hotel I have ever stayed in. The service from the staff was excellent. The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. On my next trip to Ocala (January 2013), and future travels I will definitely look for an available Holiday Inn FIRST, before those "other" guys. Thank you Holiday Inn for the opportunity to comment.

Wish I could have enjoyed a good night's sleep. The guests in the room next to mine were having a party and kept me awake until after 2:00am. I called down to the front desk but didn't hear anyone come to the door or a phone call. Eventually the noise stopped but that night was not a good experience. Not the fault of the hotel ................
