We have been staying at the Holiday Inn on the Boardwalk for many years in the off-season, especially enjoying an extended visit in Spring. These two weeks have always been a favorite with us, and what makes them special are the great folks at the Hotel who help make our stay so pleasant. In addition to being personally greeted by the front desk whenever we go by, over the years we have gotten to know several of the Housekeeping staff and make sure we stay in rooms that they service. We feel that they are part of our extended family while at the Hotel. Our current favorite rooms are the Southern View corner kings on either the 8th or 9th floors. We have stayed in several other types of rooms but have found that this one has the advantage of seeing both the ocean and the bay from the balcony, as well as having two extra windows for added natural light (sunset viewing from the living room window is spectacular!). As usual, the room amenities are great and help to make for a relaxing stay. We also enjoy at least one dinner at Hemingways each stay, and have invited friends to join us who always ask if they can come back there when we are in OC. All in all, the Hotel is the best one on the Boardwalk and we look forward to many more years of off-season visits.

Staff and service were wonderful. The suite was more than expected clean, very large, with a comfortable bed ( but the pillows could be larger considering it was king size bed ) great view. We stop here on our way to visit our son in NC.
Next time through the area we plan to stay longer at this beautiful hotel. It was at this hotel that we decided to become Priority Club Members and we will be booking our future travel stays with Holiday Inn Hotels.
We loved the fresh fruit available at the Reservation Desk.

I stay at this hotel a few times a year. It's a beautiful hotel, the rooms are very spacious and the kitchen has everything you would have in your kitchen at home. It's right on the beach and the children will love the kiddie pool. I highly recommend it for families. Staff are wonderfully helpful.

It's perfect for comfort and relaxation. The only issue I had and some of the parents, the indoor pool was a bit too cold for us. Other than that, the kids loved it.

although the kitchenette and bathroom could be updated the rest of our suite was clean and comfortable. the staff couldn't have been nicer, from the front desk to the bartenders. probable the best views in the area.

Service was very good, had a problem one morning with room service order, but overall service was excellent.Rooms were very clean, kitchen had everything we needed, Beds were very comfortable. Pool area was clean, plenty of chairs for adults. Location was perfect, quiet but able to walk boardwalk to activites.

Upon arriving in our room I noticed a old orange behind the tv.
I also saw blood on the wall in bedroom and several pieces of hair on the sheets. Not a good way to arrive.
We had a good time in OC but I noticed the cleanliness of the rooms has dropped through the past couple of years.
The front desk people were very nice and helpful.
I like the building but just think they need to not let there guard down about condition of rooms.

As Priority Club members we asked for an upgrade and was granted it with a smile. The room was HUGE! Room service was extremely fast and the food delicious and reasonably priced. All of the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful! The hotel is located right on the Boardwalk. I would like to return in the summer as the outside pool area looks fantastic! The indoor pool area is very nice as well. The pool bar is fantastic! We will return for sure!

The bedroom area was nice and what I have come to expect from Holiday Inn Express - clean and comfortable. The bathroom shower was abysmal - very low water pressure "high end" rain head inside an awkward tough to get into tub in dire need of caulking (or better yet replacement). The kitchen though functional was very low end. The tiled floor ante-room to the suite (understand we are at the beach so I get the concept) was dark - no windows, and cold/inhospitable - not a place you would want to sit and "relax".

My wife and I went in March. Was great and very quite. OC was almost like a ghost time and we have a suite over looking the beach, VERY happy with the hotel.

i had first experienced H.I. last year when i moved across the country and stayed in several H.I.'s mainly due to the dog friendly policy as i was traveling with 7 dogs. Every H.I. was exceptional to my surprise, i wasn't expecting the comfort and amenities and was beyond satisfied on all accounts. So when looking to book in OC MD, i noticed the H.I. which had a kitchen in the suite as my friends and i were planning to just hang out, cook and relax. I'll start with the room, the couch was a pullout, almost unable to be enjoyed to sit on due to it being incredibly uncomfortable, thankfully i slept in one of the beds, not so lucky for my friend. The entire time of our visit, the room next door to us, and unbelievably the room above us, were under construction and/or remodel. The tapping and banging was constant. The first call to the front dest seemed to stop the noise for a little while but then it just kept coming back. Not to mention our friend was trying to sleep through this, they didn't seem to care much. The second call to the FD and request to change rooms was futile. No rooms like ours was available, in Feb/Mar, the place seemed to be empty yet no where to move us, crazy. So we stayed. The kitchen was supposed to be stocked, ( i called ahead to make sure ) the items were old, dirty and totally inadequate for even basic cooking, we had to go to the restaurant to borrow two pans, the restaurant was very accommodating to this request. So we checked out early and after speaking with the front desk on the phone, and in person, not one employee even apologized or even made an attempt to make things right, not a word from anyone. I couldn't believe how bad this experience was, and that no one seemed to care very much. Overall, two big thumbs down. I've stayed at a lot of places in my life, this place is definitely in the top 5 worst ever. I highly suggest looking elsewhere for a place to stay.

Went to this hotel for business and a little leisure. The hotel location was great and the view was awesome. So in that aspect I would recommend this hotel. The reason I would not recommend it is because they don't do anything special for Priority Club members. When checked in the person acknowledged that we were Platinum but did not offer an upgrade, giftbag, breakfast or anything. I have been to many other priority club hotels and all of them have at least one special way of treating me but this hotel just treated me like another guest. I guess all there members must be platinum level.

We were upgraded to ocean front. Everything about the experience was awesome. We told the hotel we will return next Feb. again. The room was so big and spacious. We had a Jaqusi in our room, too cool. Again I give it the top star rating. The staff were very nice and helpful. It was our first time in OCMD, I would recommend the hotel to everyone. Thank you.
PS. I look forward to returning to the same place and getting the same room for my next birthday in Feb.

upon check in the young lady who welcome me to the hotel was nice with a great smile also her co-worker a man was friendly we talked about raven game for a minute. I slept like a baby in the bed hated to leave. The gentlemen at restaurant in particular a young man who was the hostess did a great job. He made me and my mother feel right at home very pleasant. I am looking forward to my next stay Memorial Day weekend keep up the wonderful job. Management should be prove to have such a lovely staff.

Oceanfront jacuzzi suite with king size bed is perfect. Friendly staff, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Very nice bar and restuarant.

This was our 4th time staying at this hotel and we loved it, yet again. We don't understand the unusually high rates that come out and then drop drastically but we got a great stay for the money. Patrick the bartender was the best yet! The entire staff were attentive and friendly and the oceanfront rooms are the best around. Can't wait to return.

Checked in and was recognized as a priority club member and was offered an upgrade since rooms were available - got the suite with ocean view. Front desk personnel were very attentive when we had questions about the facility and area.
The room was fantastic, the kitchen appliances were in excellent condition, the view was beautiful. We enjoyed the sun rise over the water. We didn't try the in-house restaurant or bar. The only negative to the room was the Shower / Jacuzzi - the floor is a bit slippery when wet. There is a handle mounted on the wall for use of getting in and out.

The staff at the Holiday Inn are the best. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. They even helped us get New Year Reservations. We have not stayed anywhere else since they opened in 2000, and our children and grandchildren would not think of staying anywhere else.

We stay here in the winter and it's a wonderful hotel. I like the set-up of the rooms with a separate bedroom, big bath and sitting area. The staff and service was excellent.

we woud highly recommend this hotel.staff, experience was wonderful! Shawn at the bar was excellent and everyone very accomodating! from the time we first entered until we left.
Happy hour at the bar was great, as well as apitizers. will come again before season opens.

This is the best hotel in Ocean City. Friendly staff, who go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The Suites are spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping is replenishes all the toiletries. Everyone here is great. The restaurat staff is quick, friendly,
This trip, the hotel was decorated with all types of Christmas trees... festive, short, tall, each one seemed like it had a different theme... trees in the pool area, restaurant and all over the lobby.
I can not wait to come back again... Thanks Brian, Steve, Chris, Keith and Susan. We had a great time.

We really enjoyed our one night stay in early December 2012. Really quiet in Ocean City and at the hotel. The room was large and well put together and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the balcony overlooking the ocean. Only complaint is the shower. We really prefer a normal shower to the overhead rainfall type.

My husband and I stay at this hotel every time we visit OC. We love the king suite with the view of the ocean. The rooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
