The hotel was very clean and it was in a very good spot on the beach. Not too far out of the way, but far enough from all the commotion of the boardwalk. Very relaxing.

My friend and I spent a few days in Ocean City, MD last week. Our choice of hotel was wonderful. It had everything needed. The room was spacious and clean and the kitchenette was a great idea. Our room was a Garden View, which overlooked the pool area, and gave the feeling of us being on a tropical vacation. We enjoyed the poolside bar and the short walk to the ocean. This Holiday Inn was also the perfect location in Ocean City - close to everything, but not in the most busy area. Our only regret was that we could not stay at least one or two more days. The dinner that we had at "A Taste of Italy" restaurant was very good. We look forward to vacationing here again in the near future.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by katie198741982 Clean and relaxing stay, but skimpy on the pots and pans
The hotel was great. Very clean, a lot of things to do at the hotel if you wanted, we just hung out at the beach and the boardwalk. We got a room with a full kitchen so we wouldn't have to spend a ton eating out every night.
The only problem we had was that when the cleaning staff came they took the dish towel and wash towel that were provided when we first arrive that we were using to handwash our dishes. We didn't really use the dishwasher since it took an hour to clean them and we only had one or two so it wasn't worth it for us to turn on the dishwasher. But after the cleaning staff took the old cloths and didn't replace them we had no choice but to use the dishwasher, and it didn't always get everything as clean as it should. I'm sure we could have gotten another one from the staff but it was out last night there so we didn't bother.
Also the kitchen was pretty limited in terms of pots and pans. The skillet provided was basically a tiny omelet pan so I had to cook my food in batches so it didn't overflow the pan. And while there was an oven there were no pans or anything that we could use to heat anything in the oven on, so the oven was pretty much useless.
