I chose this hotel for its proximity to UCF for their homecoming football game. Check in is at 3 and at 2:50 the room was not ready and we were told it may be a while without much apology from the clerk. I left my card at the front desk and asked them to call when it was ready. I went to the bar for a drink and all the draft kegs were empty so no draft beer available. I got a bottled beer with a glass but the glass had food on it. By 330 I hadn't heard from the clerk so went to the front desk which was crowded with many guests trying to check in, all of us hoping it would be in time for the homecoming game. Most were being told it would be up to an hour. Fortunately they kept my place in line and my room was ready around 4. The first thing I noticed was the vomit on the back of the door, disgusting! The room also appeared that it hadn't been vacuumed. No surprise that it was dirty since they were so behind but they knew the game would bring crowds, they hosted the football team! The bathroom floor was also dirty with dirt and an earring back in the corner, not mine. We didn't have time to do anything about it but made note of it when we left, and again the clerk was unaffected and barely apologized let alone offered any sort of discount or concern about the nastiness. I'll never come here again and will be sure to tell my friends. My parents stayed here all the time 10 years ago and never had this issue.

Over priced for an average room. Found rooms to be dated and in need of repairs. Cracked tiles caulking etc. A/C fan not blowing but unit ran constantly.

This property is the best location to stay for a UCF football game. Their staff is always great and the common areas are kept up very well. We always enjoy meeting up with friends in the lounge area, which is very spacious with a great bar and many couches and tables. The only thing they need to work on is updating the rooms. The room was dark and smelled musty. The shower tile was old and cracking and just simply needs to be replaced.

Our room was hot, hot, hot! The air conditioning was not working at all (other than dripping water from the ceiling onto the rug in front of the bathroom). However, by the time we realized the a/c was not working, it was late, we were tired, and we were in no mood to change rooms. Our original room was not ready when we arrived, so it would have been the second time we had to move. . .sad, because the hotel is really pretty otherwise. The hall carpets and lobby areas were especially pretty. The separate dining area was nice for breakfast (rather than just an area off the lobby). Yet, nothing compensates for a bad night's sleep, and it is always a bad night when the room is stifling hot.

The room was lovely, convenient, and the staff was great--most accomodating. I would have liked the cost to have been lower, as I was there for personal reasons, not on a business expense account, but they did give me the best rate that they could.

The free wifi was fast and strong. They clearly needed more staff at breakfast. Took 5 minutes to get seated when there was one couple ahead of me and then they ran out of eggs and sussage at the buffett. Food was ok, but not great.
Facilities were a little dated. Doors to rooms needd paint. Fitness room was not very well equiped or user-friendly.

The staff was wonderful, especially the front desk agents. The common areas and guest rooms are in need of renovation but it was clean and comfortable. The executive lounge should be better maintained or just removed, its current state was disappointing. I am excited to hear of your upcoming renovation and look forward to returning when it is complete.

After a LONG day of work it was nice to come "home" to the Holiday Inn. Since I was travelling alone I ate most of my dinners sitting at the bar. By the 2nd night the bartender knew me by name and what I like to eat and drink. She was friendly to all who entered and made you feel welcome. My room was clean and comfortable.

We booked for Family weekend at UCF and the place was packed. No way to get early check in before 4 and they weren't very nice when we even asked. I'm sure they were stressed with a full house. We opted for a deal that included breakfast,which was not good. I would not go to eat for free. Paid a lot for the night and didn't feel it was worth the price. The rooms were comfy and bed was good as well as the pillows. I just didn't think the price fit the value of the place. No hot tub. It did, however look like you could pick up a rental car from there which might be convenient for someone.

When I checked in I was told there was no king rooms , it he next morning I asked to change rooms ,and found out they had rooms on the executive floor ,they gave me one,but I feel I had to beg for it,then I was told I had to check out on the 27th ,and I asked where I could go and was told where hotels were full and not one I could move to,so I think my elite statutes is a joke and I will not stay here again if I have to work in this area again , I have a bad taste in my mouth about holiday inns

For the money, there must be cleaner motels around. I will try a different one next time. The tub was dirty, there was trash under the bed and the nightstand.

The bathroom sink was very noisy. So loud it woke me when my husband used the bathroom in the early morning.
The staff ,EVERYONE , was great.
Very pleasant experience overall.

We were in Palm Beach to visit family. The hotel was extremely clean, the pool setting was beautiful and the food in the restaurant, although a little pricy, was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

I was here on business. Front desk was very polite and check in was smooth. The room was a little dated and in need of better cleaning and updating but it was overall fine. The shower however had dirty grout, a ripped curtain and the shower nozzle was wonky. It was an adjustable massaging shower head that pretty much sprayed water everywhere most of the time on most settings. I did not complain or bring it to the staff's attention because i was able to deal with it but if my wife had been with me she would likely have had a fit. Although I turned the AC down to 65, I do not believe the room ever got below 72 (outside temp was in the 80s during the day) and even with the drapes closed, a fair amount of sunlight came in through the gap between the curtain and the wall. Reversing the way the curtain open (to have them base at the wall and open to the other side past the window) could have easily solved that. The breakfast was an additional $10 charge for a so-so buffet and juice at an additional charge. I requested a 1:00 check out and although it was given, the maid service still felt compelled to knock on the door to ask if I had a late check out. Getting a late check out to sleep late is kind of defeated if housekeeping knocks on the door to ask if you requested one.
I would not stay here again probably but if the price was best I would not object.

Everything was good except our room could have been a little cleaner. Went to plug in the phone charger and major dust behind the nightstand and around carpet baseboards. Also bathroom floor and mirror wasn't properly cleaned. Bedspread had brown stains on it so I did request a new one. My down comforter had a rip in it also the bed skirt. So being a priority club member I was expecting a little bit cleaner / nicer room.

There were two reasons why we chose this Holiday Inn: proximity to UCF and free breakfast, as stated on the website at the time of booking our reservation. Unfortunately, as we were entering the restaurant in the morning we were told that our AARP reservation DID NOT include the complimentary breakfast. Had we read somewhere that AARP reservations did not include breakfast, we would NOT have stayed in this facility. That said, The room was clean with plenty of towels, quiet, and comfortable beds.

I had a great stay at your hotel. We were there for 10 days and I enjoyed every moment of it. The staff was wonderful especially craig and arienna at the bar. Also Kathy in the morning was a great waitress. Keep up the good work and I will be staying with this hotel again in my future stays in florida.

As always, we had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lady who was running the breakfast was the BEST ever. So nice, cheery, friendly, and helpful.

As an IHG Platinum member I stay regularly at IHG hotels including the Holiday Inn brand. It is always nice to get an upgrade but I was disappointed with the quality of the rooms and general ambience on the 6th floor Exec Level....nothing special at all....in fact quite to the contrary. Time for the rooms to be refurbished. Very tired and worn.
Dinner menu left a lot to be desired...very little selection unless you want bar food....so decided to eat out.
Breakfast good and staff serving breakfast attentive and friendly.
So, all in all, a bit of a let down for the Holiday Inn brand I am afraid.

This hotel is dated, the lobby area had upgrades but they forgot about the rooms, the bathroom looked like it had not been renovated in years with old ceramic tiles, shower head from the early eighties, carpet not up to standards. This was a disappointment from the previous undated HI I've visited over the years. Highly encourage room upgrades and improvement and attention to detail.
In addition bedding should not be left on the pull-out sofa there is no way you can convince the customer that those sheets are clean especially if there is no protective covering. The front desk ensured me they were , but how do you prove that. We were afraid to use them. Was not offered an upgrade based on my reward status
