Very good staff, friendly and helpful. Third floor room needs a refurbishment and Number 9 air conditioner on roof beside room noisy.
Very handy to Universal / Harry Potter. The trolley passes outside and the Linx bus service excellent.
We arrived in middle of a Pwer Ranger convention which was disconcerting, but Rangers and Monsters very nice people

even though the hotel is right across from a theme park and there was a large event the entire stay was wonderful. All of the staff was very friendly, at check in, at check out.
As a group of all girls using the pool after dark the security officer let us know he was around and was watchful in the most wonderful way. The entire stay was wonderful and safe.

This hotel is in a close location to Universal Studios and there is a free shuttle to Epcot, Universal and City Walk. There is no shuttle to or from the airport. One member of our group took at taxi for $45 one way to the airport. The rest of us paid for the MEERS shuttle to and from which was reasonable but stopped at many different hotels adding to travel time.
The hotel is clean and our suite had a full kitchen with dishes included. There is a TGIFridays next door. There is no hotel bar but they sell single beers in the lobby store. There are a few resturants walking distance from the hotel but most are fast food. We took a taxi to International Drive for $20 which had many resturants.

Stayed here because of the location to Universal. It really is a quick walk to the park! I wouldn't walk if you have kids though. I would imagine it would be quite brutal in the summer heat.
The rooms smelled absolutely horrible!!! Like someone had left wet towels on the floor for weeks. The TV made this obnoxiously loud buzzing sound like it was about to explode, but we didn't watch much TV anyways. Wifi was also pretty spotty. If you're not looking for some ritzy hotel then it's absolutely fine for the price. Don't expect top service or the best of the best. Just a place to lay your exhausted head after a day at the parks.

I had many issues during my stay that revealed the the lack of attentiveness, knowledge and general friendliness of the staff. When I had a problem, it generally took a while for it to be resolved. Also, when I had questions, it seemed that I would be passed around because no one really knew the answer. Alongside this, I do not believe that the price of this hotel was really matched to the quality and value of the stay. I would not likely stay at this hotel again if I were in the area.

Our stay in the holiday inn was an ok experience. I havent been on vacation since 2004 and i was expecting a relaxing stay in the hotel especially from walking the whole day from universal studios. Here are some things that the hotel can improve on. First, the beds are a little too stiff and hard for my liking if the beds would have been softer that would have been better for me. Also, as everyone exits out from the room, the door tends to slam and i tend to wake up from the big boom that causes reprepeatedly. We would have liked a king size bed but mentioned it from the beginning because we made a mistake in our reservation booking two standards rooms but nothing was available. On a positive note, room service was very friendly, and the staff at check in were super helpful and very attentive.
