Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Wonderful Check In Experinece and Front Desk Staff
My husband and I arrived at the hotel about an hour before check in time on Sunday February 16th, the lady at the front desk was so helpful and welcoming to us after our long flight. I had terrible red eyes from my contacts on the flight and looked like a mess, and I don't speak french except to ask "can you speak English?" So I was so appreciative of her kindness. Both she and another lady were again most helpful to my husband and myself the next morning to find a bakery within walking distance and went online to get us directions. I had read that the hotel is in a great location and that the rooftop deck has a beautiful view which are both true, but the kind and helpful staff was an unexpected bonus which I am most grateful for.

This hotel is well located - convenient to public transportation and good restaurants. Easy walking distance to places of interest and the lively areas of the Left Bank. The hotel staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Breakfast is good and the quality of wines served in the bar is excellent.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TETE080214 Confortable bed, great service, 1st room was dirty
Everything was fine..but when we arrived, the room had blood spots in the bathroom. I talked with the receptionist and they could change my room. I had breakfast there and the food was great! but I had to wait a lot to eat croissants. Another bad thingwaqs that I couldn't eat somehting because I go to have breakfast one hour before that the dinningroom was closed.
If I go to París again, probbably I will stay in the same hotel again, the bed was confortable, the situation is so good and the attetion was excellent.

very good location! We walked to the Notre Dame de Paris in only 10 minute! and to the metro station only 3 minute walk.
at night, we can see the Eiffel Tower through the window.
at last, the staff are very nice,.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by IHGforme Great location
This hotel is in a perfect location...close to Metro/RER and all the shopping of St. Germain and surrounding area. Great location for access to anywhere in the City. We had an Executive Room with a terrific view west towards the Eiffel Tower. Like way too many Paris hotels, the room was still on the small side and the bathroom a bit awkward in terms of access and convenience. Still, staff friendly and helpful, room clean, bed comfortable, fair price. Great stay overall.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Belle76 Great view and great central location
Amazing view of the Eiffel Tower and perfectly located close to Latin Quarter, Notre Dame etc... Metro and Train to Airport at the doorstep also.
Have stayed there twice now. Standard room was quite small... But the Queen Bed Executive Room with Eiffel Tower view was SENSATIONAL... Spacious, big balcony, spectacular view.
I can highly recommend this hotel.

Simply put, a terrible design of bathroom door - frosted glass so it lit up the bedroom when used at night, and a sliding door which could only be described as a room separator, not a door. Not ideal for a first time romatic weekend away!

Stayed here with my wife for 4 nights. Was my first visit to Paris and the location is perfect for sightseeing. 2 minute walk from the nearest metro which offers direct lines to Paris Gare du Nord and CDG. Nice area with loads of eateries and bars. Staff were nice and helpful. Bumped us up to a nice room as per my Platinum status. Overall a nice and comfortable stay. Great location for the first timer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dan Platinum A must stay in Paris
Easy train access from the airport. A short walk to Notre Dame, many sidewalk cafes, multiple small grocery stores nearby. Walking distance to many popular museums. Subway close by for other historic landmarks.
Free upgrade to a balcony was excellent. Be sure to get a balcony room even if you have to pay for it in advance. Rooftop bar was excellent with great views including the lighting of the Eiffel Tower. The hotel staff was excellent, and very helpful with directions. Most people in Paris speak English, so it is easy to travel.
The rooms were newly redone and fashionable.

While the hotel has very comfortable rooms and friendly staff, the location is the absolute standout for me. The St Michel area makes a brilliant base for exploring Paris. You have easy access to both metro and RER stations and are within walking distance of some of the top sight of Paris like Notre Dame, Sainte Chappelle, Louvre, Luxembourg Gardens.
The rooftop bar with views out over Paris was excellent and made for some great photo ops.
The only thing I didn't like was the glass window between the bedroom and the bathroom. This might be ok for couples but for friends travelling together, this is an unwanted feature. There was a blind you could pull down but it was accessed outside the bathroom (!!) and had gaps on either side so there was not complete privacy. The glass sliding door into the bathroom did not completely close so if you had to turn on the light in the middle of the night, the whole room was lit, not to mention there was no muffling of sound.

The room was ok, however, it could have been a bit bigger taking into consideration all other Holiday Inn hotels have larger rooms (king bed room).
The hotel was decent as well.
The staff is very bad, not able to help after they have billed me twice, and very rude.

We couldn't have been happier with the location of Holiday Inn Notre Dame. The staff was so very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel particularly because of the location- cafes everywhere, five minute walk to Notre Dame, easy access to the Metro and taxis available very close to hotel. Any questions I had were quickly answered by staff members. Their genuine greetings of Bonjour made us feel so at home.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Kene66 Shame about the little things.
The hotel was let down by silly avoidable things that just kept chipping away at the overall experience.
In one of our rooms the fridge didn't work, in another both the telephone and the safe didn't work and in another the cleaning staff didn't replace some of the bathroom items for three of the four days.
The fact that they put our three family rooms on three different floors (remember the broken telephone?) rather than putting us together was a challenge, especially bearing in mind that we booked this hotel several months in advance.
Dark wallpaper and floors in the bedrooms. Very stylish but when combined with energy saving light bulbs made it very difficult to see.
I so wanted to write a good review for this hotel. I really did.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Siew2013 Great location, interconnecting rooms, view from rooftop
1. Great location to be in as we could walk to Louvre (2 km+), Musee D'Orsay (2 km+) and Notre Dame (5 minutes). The walks were along the Seine and treats by themselves.
RER and Metro were just barely 5 minutes away.
Lots of small eating outlets nearby.
2. Rooms are small (you have to be able to tolerate decor of red, purple, blacks) but clean. no view. Had two interconnecting rooms which we found were also the accessibility rooms (designed for travellers who are wheelchair users) so the bathroom amenities may not be what a standard traveller is used to.
3. View from the rooftop bar- Eiffel Tower shimmering in the winter night was great.
Plenty of other choices at the same room rate but location convenience makes up the difference.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Georgia girl Great little hotel in the Latin Quarter
The staff was great. There were at the desk all hours of the day and night with help and guidance The room was small; but, well organized with all the amenities. This part of the city is crowded in all aspects. We got used to it. It was in a great location, near the Metro and easy access to everything. No work out room or pool. When walking up to 10 miles or so a day, guess they figure wasn't needed and once again space an issue. Oh yes, nice view on top.

Stayed 2 nights on points with our children on their first visit to Paris and couldn't have picked a better location. Right in the middle of all the sights and the view from the roof top was breathtaking. hotel was modern, clean and surprisingly large rooms by Parisean standards.

This hotel is my favorite place to stay in Paris! The location is perfect, the staff is helpful, the room was lovely, and the terrace is a wonderful place to relax with a view of this beautiful city. Merci to the entire staff, but especially to Zoe who was so very helpful.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by MSfromUK Smallest room in Paris
We stayed two nights at this hotel. The room was so small that the bathroom did not have a bath, the refrigerator door could not be fully opened because of the closeness of the small double bed and the doors of the tiny wardrobe could also not be fully opened because of a wall light positioned to the side of the bed.
Needless to say we will not be staying at this hotel again as it was definitely a place to forget. I have stayed in dozens of Holiday Inns and this is definitely the worst.

The Holiday Inn is in a great location. It is away from the major tourist bustle, but close enough to the French Quarter and Metro lines to make all of Paris accessible. There are plenty of cafes available to get a true "taste" of Paris. The rooftop terrace offers great views of all the major sights.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Alex619 Excelent position
We stayed two night in the heart of Paris: the hotel position is excellent, at walking distances of most main spots in Paris.
The front desk staff was gentle and polite, the room was clean and we had a view on the Eiffel tower from our balcony.
I recommend this hotel: it's a little expensive, but it worth the money.

Booked this hotel through eBookers and was not disappointed. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely quiet room and a great roof terrace to see the sights after dark. Close to the Notre Dame and Louvre and with a Metro (St Michel) right on the doorstep it was ideal for sight seeing. Breakfast was epic and highly recommended as an option. Overall, can't fault it really, great staff, great location, great views from the roof and great value. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 2HokiesfromNC Great location, Great value, Pleasant Staff but beware of Room 105
You can't beat the location of this hotel. Right next to the St. Michel Metro Stop which provides easy access to most tourist sites. The first night I was in a Standard room (108# (business# before I moved into an Executive Room #105# which I purchased in advance for the 2 personal vacation days I took after my business trip to celebrate my 20th wedding anniversary. The room was larger but it faced the road right above the entrance to the hotel. Room 108 was on the garden side #very quiet). The bed and pillows in 105 were not as good as in 108, and both of us awoke the first night at 5am to a strange sound behind the wall in the bathroom #sounded like the pipes were shaking with running water). Since we were only staying 2 nights, we didn't want to move again. Overall the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay, and didn't laugh at my attempt to speak French as much as my wife did. Recommend asking for a room on the garden/courtyard side of the hotel. I am sure the hotel would have moved me if I had asked. The hotel breakfast was very average. Paris a beautiful city and the food is fantastic. Chez Fernand was a very good mid-priced French restaurant not far from the hotel along with Franky Italian Restaurant. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by paris199 Excellent location & roof top view
Bed was comfortable, choice of two types of pillows a nice touch. Queen room (Eiffel tower view) with balcony, 2 chairs and table. Room had a mini bar/ refrigerator and hot water pot. Great modern shower and bathroom. Room was quiet no street noise at all. Two breakfasts offered, but we did not eat there. Nice lobby Bar. Roof top bar was closed for the season, but you could bring up your own drinks and enjoy the view.
Location by the RER/Metro was perfect for us. Easy train ride to Versailles on the train. Close to shops and lots of restaurants and cafes. Don't miss the roof top view of the Eiffel tower and all of Paris at night!

Wow! That's what jumped out from my mouth when I entered the room and looked out from the window.
The hotel's location is very convenient for public transportation. It is only 100 meters away from the St. Michel Notre-Dame metro station wherein the RER C, RER B and Metro #4 meet. We took RER B from Airport Charles De Gaulle to the hotel directly.
The neighbourhood is Quartier Latin on Rive-Gauche, a lot of POIs including Notre-Dame, Hotel de Ville, La Concergerie, Sainte-Chapelle, Penthéon, Sorbonne Université, Musée Cluny are within walking distance. There are innumerable bars and café around the area.
From the window, we can see Tour Eiffel and Les Invalides and Sacré Coeur. We witnessed the magic lighting effect on these dreaming building at night, drinking beers on the balcony.
In the room, we found Evian, Perrier, Twix and a few Nespresso Bullets, FREE OF CHARGE! Needless to say the bed is comfortable and the staffs are always nice as all other Holiday Inns around the world.
