This hotel was booked through a travel agent. When I read the reviews, I was more than a little concerned. We had nothing to worry about. The staff was more than accommodating and the rooms were perfect. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Worst Holiday Inn so far.
Most of the time Holiday Inn is a name that I can trust to get a nice room. I would say not here. I would not expect a Holiday in to have rooms that were as dirty as this one.

Das ganze Hotel sollte mal ein Jahr zugemacht werden. Sauberkeit und allgemeiner Standard entsprechen den 70er Jahren. Die Waende sind wohl aus Papier. Nach einer Kernsanierung duerfte es vielleicht dem Holiday Inn standard entsprechen. ...Aber dafuer ist das Gebaeude zu klein... Paris eben... Alles klein und eng.
Das Personal bemueht sich redlich, kaempft aber auf verlorenem Posten.

Bad location for a bad hotel. The room was very old, with dirty carpets and pulled wallpaper. The bathroom in the same line. In the morning very noisy. Now the hotel is in maintenence, and they appologize for it, but I think it is not enough.

Stayed there for a few hours in the night from the 12th to the 13th November 2014.
I arrived shortly before midnight after a very long day working. I had a rental car and parked in front for the check-in and asked where I could park for the night. I was then ‘informed’ that the Parking was full and had to be booked separately and in advance. OK until now, you could say it was my fault I didn’t check before. Due to the fact that our business trip booking is done through Amex, had no idea about this.
Problem was that even if I politely asked (in proper French), I was only told ‘Park in front, but move your car before 6:30 am, otherwise will be towed’. Since I had no intention to do that, I asked if I he could check if I could park elsewhere. The employee at the front desk was completely demotivated, so no further answer, help or suggestions came. I went upstairs and left my luggage in my room.
Fortunately, I had a GPS and after wasting almost an hour of my precious sleep time I was able to find a 24 hours public parking nearby.
Went back to my room to discover filthy carpets and fungus in the walls. Please see the photos attached.
Woke up and had breakfast (which was OK) and rushed to the check-out only to find out that, even if had informed the employee during check-in that the name of the company had been changed, that the company name in the bill was wrong. OK, I thought, it should take only a minute to change it. I was wrong, the lady at the front desk said it would take at least 20 minutes! Since I had a to make to a meeting I was not able to wait, but she promised to send it by email. She did after an hour or so.
All in all, the worst hotel experience in many years!

The hotel as far as location for the trade show area and amenities was good.
The reception staff on check in were excellent but let down by some colleagues in terms of passion and devotion to guest satisfaction.
Housekeeping was poor and the rooms do need some refurbishment.
Dont expect any room service despite being advertised. Twice I requested room service to be told the kitchen was not open.

Very close to the Institut of Pastuer and Montparnasse. 30 minute walk from river
