Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cool reception, Chintzy Interior & Non Existence Room service 1. No verbal recognition of my been a priority club member, the letter was passed to me wordlessly & cooly. 2. Room lighting inadequate and unsuitable for resting. The désign of the room was not well thought out. eg. the luggage area is too small and narrow, encroaching on the jacket hanging area, and the clothes wardrobe was away from the luggage area. The light switches were not logically set out. 3. The sink tap / faucet was difficult to handle. Two hands or a very firm grip were needed. It was near impossible with soapy hands. The water splashes every where each time the tap was turned on, despite a small water flow. When using the bathtub, water splashes out as the shower screen was not secured. The poor position of the rain shower is probably the culprit. 4. There was a brochure for breakfast room service. We filled it up and hung it on the door knob , supposedly to be collected by 2am. We called the number for room service thrice, but no one answered. The next morning - NO BREAKFAST was served, and our request was still hanging on the door knob outside. December 12, 2014

Spoke very good English The room was perfect for my needs and the coffee maker was welcome. Very good amenities in the bathroom, lots of light and towels. Faced a courtyard so I had no noise. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stay at the Holiday Inn St Germain des Pres We stayed at this hotel from Nov 29 to Dec 5 it is very well located, closed to all amenities and specially the Metro the staff is courteous, knowledgeable and friendly Alexandra and Geoffroy are a pleasure to deal with We arrived at 10am from our flight from Canada, the room was not ready but Alexandra contacted Housekeeping while we were checking in , to see if a room could be ready asap so we could get some sleep , although she said she could not guarantee anything.. by 11am the room was ready .. The rooms are clean, spacious ( in Paris standard) the beds are soooo comfy .. they have a very nice restaurant.. The price of the room is outstanding . Highly recommend and we would go back in a heart's beat.. when we visit Paris again .. December 10, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by no hot water When I wanted to take a shower in the morning there were no hot water. A cold shower is not what you expect from such an hotel at the heart of Paris. When mentioning to the staff at check out she was sympathetic but offered no compensation our any other remedy that one would expect. Other than that the hotel is nice. Rooms are small like most hotels in Paris. Breakfast is basic. November 23, 2014
