I can't say enough good things about the service at this hotel!! After a 4-hour long bus ride crammed on a bus, all of us in our group were eagerly awaiting the chance to get off the bus and enjoy the comfort of a bed. Our team travels frequently and MUCH more often than not, have been greeted by our hotels with stress rather than relaxation. We've encountered issues from having our reservations cancelled, to rooms not ready for almost a full day past our check in date, to a disgusting lack of maintenance (dirty sheets, bugs, etc), and we've come to a point where we just expect some kind of complications during our travel experiences. When we arrived at this Holiday Inn, even at the late hour that we did, we were greeted by a whole team of smiling staff members at the door. They had all of our keys (for over 200 of us) sorted with our names and room numbers already labeled, and staff members to point us in the direction of our rooms. I have the utmost appreciation for the effort and work that went into preparing for our stay, every single one of us were so grateful for how smooth it was checking in and the hospitality that was so pronounced for the entirety of our stay! Our room was not cleaned the 2 days we were there. I spoke to the pool staff about all the unsupervised kids making noise and in the hot tub, but to no avail!! Won't be back!!!

Over the years of my travels (priority club since 1983) I have my favorite hotels that I frequent and this Holiday Inn (Perrysburg)is one of my favorites.
WHY - the well trained and friendly staff. Some have been there as long as I have been staying there!
This is important and many hotels get wrapped up in décor verses service and giving us travelers a feeling of appreciation.
