Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor room, good restaurant On entering the corridor and room, I had a feeling that everything was rundown, and perhaps not too clean. Fortunately the sheets and towels seemed to be. The bathroom had very little counter space, even using the top of the toilet. The restaurant served me both an excellent dinner and a fine breakfast. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wedding at the French Quarter My daughter had her wedding reception in the Atrium area of the Holiday Inn French Quarter. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Joe the food and beverage manager was extremely helpful in many ways over the weekend, Gloria was great to work with to help plan a wonderful reception and upon arrival was very, very helpful in getting us settled. Our event manager was SO, SO good and thought of absolutely everything, and the wait staff was wonderful. Can you tell I am so happy with my daughter's wedding reception and the help of everyone at the French Quarter. I also think the price was very reasonable. The Atrium was a beautiful place to hold a wedding reception. All was truly perfect. May 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable beds and great breakfast We arrived and our check in was very fast and efficient. We had asked for a roll away bed and it was delivered within 10 minutes of arriving in our room. The beds and pillows were very comfortable even the roll away bed was comfortable to sleep on. There were five of us sharing the room so we asked for additional towels and toiletries which were provided promptly. We had breakfast in their restaurant in the morning and it was all very good. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms are hit and miss, staff/amenities are nice I have stayed here 3 times in the past 5 months and the first stay was great. I was given a room in a quiet section of the hotel with an outdoor facing window. The 2nd time I had a room on the 1st level, interior section with lots of noise from the common area and my CC was billed twice for the stay. During my most recent stay I was once again given a noisy/interior facing room. I also am accustomed to a refrigerator in the hotels that I stay and the rooms here do not offer that so you have to deal with ice machines, which is a minor inconvenience. However, the staff has always been friendly and helpful. The common areas/pools are very nice. The rooms are clean but dated (not a fault, but as I would expect for the age of the property). The food that I have had from the restaurant has always been good. May 15, 2015
