Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by disappointing experience Waited in line for 20 minutes to check in Room was not ready 1 hour after check Full trash bags lined the hallways once we got to our 2 rooms, one of them smelled badly, we had to change rooms Poor service. Bill brought before our food. Waited 40 minutes for breakfast. We have been to this location before and it was very pleasurable. Very disappointed this time. Not the Holiday Inn standard that I am used to. February 23, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Mediocre Service and Not Clean I was there 2/19 and 2/20; both times I visited the front desk I had to wait awhile until a staff person came from the back room to assist. Both times this was in the early evening, not in the middle of the night. Moreover, there were large conferences there and one would expect the staffing to meet the customer needs. Housekeeping didn't get to my room until 5:00 PM, made the bed and didn't empty the trash. I had to make 4 calls to obtain my folio for the checkout, the first call went unanswered, the next two sent the folio to the wrong e-mail. The hotel is dirty, especially the hallways and stairs. The hotel has seen better days and needs a facelift. February 22, 2015

With the décor you really feel like you have escaped to New Orleans. We love the comfort, the helpfulness of the staff and the Sunday Brunch is fabulous. The other guests are always friendly and the kids find "weekend" friends to play with. We highly recommend this hotel for a family affordable getaway- plus the kids all eat FREE February 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Staff very friendly One particular individual I would like to single out is Greg our waiter in the dining room and later our server in the bar. When APBA Region 6 comes to your hotel (twice a year Feb & Oct) my friends have been honored with Greg's A+ service & upbeat attitude in the dining room and bar area. Last year I had my friends 6 year old son with us for dinner and he wanted a chocolate shake...Not on the menu but Greg went to the bar and made one up. HAPPY 6 YEAR OLD. This year I invited my brother in law and his wife to join my friends for Friday Night Buffet Dinner (they lived about 5 minutes away from the hotel) they were a little late. When my brother-in-law arrived with his wife Sara, Greg helped them get seated when all of sudden both Greg & Sara let out a scream....Here they were old friends from your hotel 10 years ago!
