If you are there for an adult getaway, make sure you tell them at check in that you are there to relax and ASK for room that is in a quieter area / not a kid zone. But definitely make sure you visit with your kids another time so you can enjoy that too. April 27, 2013

The banquet facility tries hard to produce excellent product and deliver it to tables hot, and they usually succeed. Meeting facilities are excellent, and can be set for a wide variety of meeting sizes. Surrounding area is very nice, and this facility is easy access as it is just off the freeway. April 22, 2013

I had dinner at the restaurant both nights and I really enjoyed the food. I also enjoyed the free wine and appetizer I got for being a priority club member. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Miserable April 6 2013 Our stay was a horrible experience. At the check in the lady could not find our reservation. She suggested I was in the wrong location. The room was very warm the cooling did not work at all. The room was right off of the ping pong tables and the ensuing noise from that area. The adults only pool is in an area where there was a private venue taking place so while it was officially available it really was not. I would really like my money returned to me because the experience was over priced and miserable. April 16, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Raw Hamburger and Poor Service My wife and I stayed at your hotel for a conference with a group that has been using your facility for a number of years. Over the years, we have watched the accommodations deteriorate. This time we ate a salad at your resturant on Friday night and Saturday morning we both had stomach problems. For Saturday lunch we ate there again as a group function and the hamburger was raw and we, along with other members of our group had to send it back. As a group, we were to have access to your breakfast room on the third floor. A grumpy lady closed and locked the door on us denieing us entry. At our Saturday night banquet, you ran out of food before all of our members were fed. How can that happen when it is a buffet and we didn't have as many people as we scheduled with you? The last two times we have stayed with you, we have been treated as second rate guest and just a thorn in your side and something you have to deal with. April 13, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Step-Mother's Birthday We live in Cincinnati and missed my 93yo step-mother's birthday since we were on vacation. The entire family usually gets together in Toledo for Easter and we stay at the French Quarter every year. Since the entire family was not getting together this year we decided to come to Perrysburg on Good Friday and take my step-mother out to dinner. She loves the French Quarter's Friday night dinner since she and her husband came there frequently before his death. We made reservations for dinner and they pre-set us up with Greg. He was great with my step-mother and even fixed her a special doggie bag to go with her left over salmon. We took her home and made it back for the cocktails on the special floor with Mary. Mary has also been there almost every year since we have been coming. We had the special breakfast on that floor the next morning and headed back to Cincinnati. We only hope that we are as healthy at 93. April 4, 2013

Received a voucher for free breakfast buffet for each day of stay due to PCR membership. A nice perk. The fitness center is fairly large and has a decent about of equipment that is is good condition. Better than many other hotels I've stayed in. Cons: This hotel recently cancelled my companies negotiated corporate rate. For what we now have to pay, it does not appear to be a good value. The facilities and location are not worth the price being asked. I spend about 35 nights in the Perrysburg area annually and will not return to the HIFQ until I try a few other hotels in the area for comparison. I expect there will be a hotel with better rooms and a lower price. One of the most disappointing things about this hotel is the hot water, or lack thereof. Even when at the hottest setting, the shower and sink would only dispense warm water. This was very annoying. This hotel is definitely in need of a renovation. April 3, 2013

It is very large and airy, the service is great and my kids LOVE IT! The swimming pool and rec area with ping pong, pool tables, etc, keeps them busy and happy for hours. We will back next year! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Waited 30 minutes to check in - NOT Priority We had a gift card and had to wait 30 minutues to check in and only had one person in front of us. The card identifier was not working so she wanted our credit card. We did not want to give it until we were sure it would take our gift card. Our gift card was for more than the room and once they finally took the card - they never gave us the card difference - our room was less. We had to call them at 3:00 a.m. to quiet the neighboring room. We were VERY disappointed since this was a gift from our daughter at Christmas. Not sure I would stay again; the mgr was on duty and knew of the issue. March 15, 2013

However, staff did not inform us of bracelets for pool area and was a little embarrassed when approached about it in front of a pool full of customers! It made us feel like we were sneaking in. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Gave us wrong room Had to wait an excessive amount of time (more than 20 minutes) for check-in and then had to go back later for our breafast vouchers. Although they gave us the wrong room, it seemed they tried thier best to accomodate our wishes by comping breakfast for all of us. I had a great deal of difficulty watching the boys in the Holidome as I use a walker and the room we were in had no visibility to the pool and I had to use a step to get down (and up) to access the pool area. I realize that they were fully booked, but I wish there was an area when you book on line to remove special requests and maybe things would have gone smoother. I did call ahead, but did not write down the name of the person I spoke to! March 11, 2013

I was even given a goody bag for being a priority club member which I have never received at any other Holiday Inn. Lobby is very nice, includes a gift shop. Restaurant/lounge looked nice, did not have time to stop by either. I appreciate the fact that this hotel still has smoking rooms, so many Holiday Inns do not anymore which is not fair to the smoker. Pool areas seemed nice, I did not have time to spend at any of the pools. Game room looked nice, some of the games were not working however. Plenty to do for families at this complex. Room was clean, not overly large though. Will definately stay here again when in the Toledo area. March 7, 2013

It still has the same wonderful lobby/pool/food areas & the staff was very nice, but the room was a disappointment. The room was in need of updating and better housekeeping ( as the perimeter of the carpet had been neglected with vacuuming and just in need of a deep cleaning). Chip in toilet and loose handle in bathroom, the room just dark and not that inviting. The location is great!!!!! March 4, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by At first was a disaster We checked in knowing the ice storm was coming. Couldn't wait to have a romantic get away and hang in the hot tub and adult pool. We checked in around 5pm and went to our room. It was 62 degrees in there and I thought it was kinda rude to have a reservation reserved ahead and they didn't have the heater turned on. We kept our coats on and unpacked our bags. My husband turned the thermostat up to 85 trying to get it warm. We even left the door open cause it was warmer outside the door. After a half hour my husband went and told the desk the heat wasn't working. It was at 64 and stayed there. She sent a maintenance man up and he came right away but after trying for awhile to get it going said he needed to get us into another room cause he didn't know what was wrong. We were still sitting watching tv in our coats. He was good cause he got us another room. Then we had to re pack and move our baggage and cooler to another room. The maintenance man was very good and helped us but by then after getting into another room and unpacking again we got to sit in the hot tub for about 20 minutes. It just seemed our night out was already tainted and we were already kinda bummed out that we lost the first part of our night. Next morning we swam in the adult pool and that was nice, so was the breakfast for Rewards members only. The place is beautiful, just wasn't a good experience for us after paying so much money.
