I stayed at this property on Business and coming from the NT, I was not used to the Autumn/Winter weather in Perth. The room was comfortable, pillow selection was great and the staff helped me with all my needs. The location is very central, just walking distance form the Mall and other areas.
I would recommend this property to anyone travelling to Perth and would stay again if I return.

We chose Holiday Inn due to its central location to train station, so as to travel to event in North of the city. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of our stay. The downstairs ambience was relaxed and casual with televisions for the sports enthusiast

Stayed here two nights, centrally located within walking distance of shopping and sightseeeing areas. Staff was superb and most helpful. Clean room and bath. Wonderful place to stay.

The hotel is looking tired and worn. The standards are very poor and in particular the linen was stained, the bath towels were torn and thin, the pillows had an odour of sweat and smoke, the pool was in pooor condition, the rooms had maintenance issues and the bathroom was disgraceful with a terrible odour of sweat or mould (probably shower curtain). The bath was too small for any practical purpose and the stocks in the bathroom were not replaced daily. The airconditioning was extremely loud and inefficinet whihc meant that sleep was near impossible but coupled with the service elevator outside the door this room was untenable. Th emilk for coffee was two weeks out of date and curdeld when placed in the coffee. All of the cutlery was stained or unclean.
Staff were friendly and helpful, the location is convenient and the views of the Swann river outstanding. Room service was ok but choices are very limited.
I stay in hotels for almost 100 days per year and this hotel was the worst i have experienced. I think it is suffering from a market where there is no need to attrract customers because the hotel is mainly occupied by FIFO trade. There is almost an atittude of " your business is not important beause we have plenty of others that will not complain".

The staff were all excellent - among the best we have encountered - this includes front desk, conceige, room service and maintenance, dining outlets. Nothing was too much trouble, they were friendly courteous but extremely professional without speaking down to us - the rooms were extremely clean and were well set out, the air conditioning worked (which is a blessing as some places it is either not cool or too cool and cannot be controlled from the panel)

My husband and I decided to use our reward points, and book
a room at the Holiday Inn on Hay St. in Perth, since our cruise ship was dropping us off early in the day at Fremantle, and our plane
wasn't leaving till almost midnight.
It was such a smart choice on our part! We arrived early at the Holiday Inn, tired from lugging all our bags from the train station, and it was pretty warm that day. They told us our room was ready to be checked into, that made us very happy, as it was only 10:30 am, and we weren't expecting that at all!
The room was comfortable, and we really appreciated the added
touches, nice soaking tub, quiet room, big shower, and even a small bottle of wine, which we enjoyed!
Their staff was always very considerate and helpful, giving us
directions to places. And what a great location, right in the hub
of Perth! We ate dinner at their restaurant upstairs, the staff there
were very attentive, and we enjoyed people watching out the big windows of the restaurant.
Thanks to the staff, everything was very comfortable and convenient for us during our stay there!
