stayed at the Holiday Inn Perth for two nights. The staff make you feel like you are home and anything you need is always available from your friends. the room had a lot of space, the serive was exceptional and the food varied and pretty good to taste. we will be back again and again as we leave feeling refreshed and relaxed

We stayed for 2 nights on the top floor (#811) with 2 singles in the main room with an attached master. The air-con in the main was powerful enough and centrally located to cool the entire room but not for the master. The fan-coil in the master was at its door and with a very low fan speed. I am not sure the stuffiness was due to being on the top floor or there was no exhaust for the air to circulate or the air-con was not located properly and/or powerful enough.
However, the service from the front desk made up for the discomfort. I also find the valet service at AUD29 per night a bit on the high side but was unsure of the market rate in that area.

The Holiday Inn Perth was exactly what we were looking for. Location was ideal, staff friendly and attentive, room very comfortable and a happy place to be staying at.
We were very glad we decided to stay here, especially after a bad experience at a rival chain's Perth hotel some nights earlier. Anyone wanting to have a great stay in Perth should look no further than the Holiday Inn and the great staff there.

I just want to send a big thank you to one of your Staff members Alex, who was on the front desk on the New Years Eve shift at the Perth City Centre hotel.
Alex is a major credit to the Holiday Inn brand. She was very friendly and polite from the moment I walked in. She was very well presented and excelled in her customer service.

The location of this hotel in the Perth CBD is nigh on Perfect. It is surrounded by shops, cafes, and bars and is close to a CBD mall. You can easily go out and walk to one of many shops and restaurants. Other "CBD" hotels are actually on the edge of the CBD so walking is less of a good option for them.
Upon arrival my was upgraded and I also requested a high floor (7th). I can't speak for the other grades of rooms but mine was spacious and comfortable with a good bed and pillows labelled "hard" or "soft" which was a nice touch. Generally the hotel didn't suggest it was in dire need of refurbishment, which is a plus compared to some other Perth hotels.
I didn't sample the restaurant - there were other places to eat nearby.
The service was excellent at all times, and every front desk person I met was polite, helpful, and generally cheery. It was great.
There is only valet parking (I suspect they don't have much car park space) and it cost $29 per day, which I didn't like much, but it was in the middle of the CBD after all.
Sadly the downstairs bar staff don't know how to make decent cocktails, so go elsewhere for that.
I definitely recommend the the hotel, especially if you have not hired a car.
As for value it seems about the same as its CBD peers.

I always look forward to coming the city and the Holiday Inn. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. We are made to feel like old friends coming back for another visit.

I choose to stay at the Perth Holiday Inn for a few reasons;
1. Cleanliness.
2. Stand alone shower , separate bath.
3.Complimentary mini bar.
4. Nice bed, choice of pillows.
5.A good Iron (for my business shirts)
Extras;
When I stay longer I get bottle of wine and chocolate.
Free morning paper.

My husband and I were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary and decided to use some Priority Club points to stay at the Holiday Inn, Hay Street.
The location is great, very central and walking distance to some top restaurants.
We were warmly welcomed and had our car valet parked. We were treated to a lovely gift basket in our room containing wine and snacks which made our celebration all the better.
To top that off though, the lovely receptionist from the front desk arrived at our room with an ice bucket containing a wonderful botte of bubbly and 2 champagne glasses.
It was this thoughfulness that ensured our anniversary was special.
Yet another great stay with Holiday Inn.
