The staff to a person were all welcoming and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The room while not super glitzy was very comfortable and worked well. We tried over our 5 night stay all departments and found them excellent. Management and staff should take a bow. December 21, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, quiet and dark room. The Holiday Inn was a great place to stay. It's in such a convenient location in the city and staff were very helpful regarding public transport. The room was lovely to come back to at the end of the day. The bath was rather small and the general layout of the bathroom was peculiar but it served it's purpose. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was quite nice. Of course there's plenty of options just outside the doors. I would recommend the room for anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, central place to relax and enjoy Perth. December 19, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Business Trip to Perth Stayed for 3 nights in Perth while on business. The hotel is right in the heart of the city close to restaurants, cafes, shopping, cinema and about 100m from Her Majesty's Theatre. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and responsive. Parking was expensive at $35/night but I had no issues with collecting my hire car quickly. I did not have breakfast as it opened at 6:30 and I needed to be on my way before then. Prices were comparable to Rydges which I stayed at previously. Despite the clean, modern and well maintained rooms the building is circa 1960-70. Got to stay I hate the Americanisation of hotels charging for paying with your credit card. Many do it and I don't like the unbundling of this price element. Qantas do the same. Bring on the Reserve Bank reforms. Given my previous review of the Crowne Plaza where it was a little noisy I have please that this room was very quite. December 16, 2014
