Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Should be an Express Holiday Inn Expresses do not charge for breakfast. This hotel does not have a restaurant yet my wife had the cold continental breakfast and all they offered was cereal for $4.99 and I had the hot continental breakfast for $9.99 which was not much, we have had much better breakfasts at the Holiday Inn Expresses for free. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely Dissatisfied My review is based on multiple stays at this location. As a business traveler i have stayed at dozens of hotels (and Holiday Inns), and have found this one to be the least accommodating and desirable of any. The only reason for repeat stays was because of its location. Rates are not consistent. Rooms are small. A sitting chair is stuck in the corner of the room that does not even face the TV. On the surface the room looked clean, however behind chairs and stands is an accumulation of dirt and dust. Carpet was worn. Not enough hangers. Thermostats are motion detected and air conditioning will not stay on if there is no movement. The lowest setting is 66 degrees which for me is not comfortable for night time sleeping. Room keys (cards) frequently did not work. Some of the showers are double headed, but water only trickled out of the second. Washcloths and towels were frequently not restocked. Breakfast is not included for Platinum members unless you pay for it in the rate. (The bacon is the best part of the buffet.) Coffee in the lobby was often unavailable (or cold). No microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms. Staff were unfriendly. There is large pond directly in front of the hotel where ducks or geese flock by the dozens. Poop was everywhere in the parking lot, and you had to dodge to avoid stepping on it. Lobby was nicely decorated at Christmas. Overall, the management of this hotel seem to not know the meaning of hospitality and customer service. January 26, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Place Great hotel and excellent restaurant & bar attached. Huge double showers make for memorable rooms. I have stayed here multiple times for meetings. Only complaint is sleep number beds. One of the beds in my room wasn't working properly last time...would prefer a regular bed over a bed which is basically a broken air mattress. Otherwise, nice feel to hotel lobby and clean rooms. January 6, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by unimpressed! We stayed here for a wedding. The reception was in the lower level and the staff was great! But otherwise our experience was awful! Our keys didn't work which was quite annoying since we were on the 3rd floor far from the front desk. We went through 3 different keys during our 2 night stay. For the price, the hotel should include breakfast instead of having a way over-priced buffet that only had a few hot items and bad service. Our rooms seemed clean on the surface but we found a cleaning rag and garbage (that didn't belong to us) under the bedskirt. And our comforter had what looked like an urine stain on it. This was our worst experience at any Holiday Inn. We would never stay here again!!! January 2, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Unimpressed I'm a platinum member. Rcvd a 4oz bottle of water as my "extra"... seriousy. No offer to help with luggage. Room smelled like chlorine. Paper only delivered 1 of 3 days; when I asked, they gave me 1 from the week prior. No refrigerator or microwave. Breakfast not served on main floor - no directions as to how to get to the room it was in. As a consultant these are all things I rely on. I was hoping to stay on a weekly basis for 3 month project. I cancelled all my reservations and though I have to drive 15 miles farther, am staying at the Staybridge, Oconomowoc. I have a full kitchen, 2 room suite, complimentary breakfast and dinner... for less money. December 14, 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great facility, but disappointed in bar service This Hilday Inn is beautiful. Great rooms with large desks and comfortable beds. I would give it 5 stars, but for one experience that has never happened to me before. Another guest and I stopped at the bar for a drink after our meeting. First, we had to go find the bartender to help us. Then, as we sat there, he proceeded to close down the bar over an hour earlier than their hours stated. He said it was because there were not enough customers. I have been in the service business for years. The customers in front of you are your most important. I felt like I inconvenienced the hotel by stopping in for a beer. They were also out of Bud Light. If there were no customers, wouldn't there coolers be full of every beer the sell? I only wanted 3 or four drinks and to watch the game. I am not from the area and did not want to leave the hotel. Why have a bar at all? It was a Thursday evening. I may understand a Sunday night..... November 21, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nothing Special I guess this hotel does well because of it's location. Staff was not very friendly, the Priority Club "amenity" was a very tiny bottled water, the elevator was dirty, and the rooms are nothing special. My keys did not work when I went to my room and found out that they had switched my room. My room ended up being a handicap room #which I didn't ask for nor was I told# and it didn't have a very nice smell to it. The only positives were that the bartender was polite and friendly even though the drinks were way overpriced #which most hotel bars are#. There are two nice restaurants within walking distance. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Unexpected delight This is not your ordinary Holiday Inn. It s decor is Arts & Crafts or Prairie style. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast buffet was really good. We stayed for about what I'd expect to pay at an "Express" Holiday Inn, but this was full-service. Word to the wise: Our GPS did not recognize their street and Priority Club gave us incorrect directions. Call the hotel direct if you have any doubts about location. Their sign is not easily evident from the highway. November 14, 2012
