I was there for a couple of nights on business and it was great. I didn't realize the hotel was sooooo close to the stadium I could walk there. Next time I will buy a ticket to catch a game.
PS. Restaurant bar downstairs is awesome!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Steph53 Poor ADA Compliance
My son made this reservation for me, using his credit card. It was a gift. When I arrived, the staff did not know how to find the reservation details that would allow them to charge his card, so I had to put it on mine - this created awkwardness between us and also with my credit card company.
A. The room was a two-queen, roll-in shower ADA room. In general, the arrangement within the room was poorly planned, so that it was difficult to pass through the room in a wheelchair, and the lowered clothing hanger and luggage rack was obstructed by the writing desk AND a round coffee table.
B. The bathroom was large, but the toilet, which was not ADA compliant (seat too low), was placed in the middle of the bathroom, opposite the extra-wide door, so it was very difficult to get into the room and positioned so that the door could be closed.
C..The sink was placed in the wall to the right of the door in an 18" space with no counter or towel rack nearby, AND it was at least 37" high, instead of the customary 31 or 32". Therefore, I could not position myself in front of the sink, since there wasn't enough room; I could not reach into it to was my hands without reaching up and having water run down my arms, and I could not get my chin over the side to easily brush my teeth.
D. The only surface in the entire bathroom on which to place toiletries, eyeglasses, or anything was the back of the toilet tank, and the single hook to hang a clothing item was too high for someone in a chair to use.
E. There was no emergency pull string anywhere in the room, or in the lobby lavatory for that matter.
F. Finally, the shower bench was the kind that hinges to the wall, which is customary, but it was tiny - maybe 16" wide, which is a very poor surface for someone to balance on. It was located at least three and a half feet from the shower controls, rendering it impossible to use independently. When wet, the tile surface was too slippery for transferring from the wheelchair to the bench or toilet.
I was unable to use the shower the first night of my stay, and to their credit, the management provided two non-skid bathmats and a transfer bench for my use when I requested these things for my second night. They also had someone come in and repair the toilet, which was loose and moved around on the floor when anyone got up or down. They also credited me with half off the first night's rate.
On the other hand, they disputed my observations that the room did not meet ADA requirements, which is just plain wrong, unless this particular city has very different standards than the rest of the country. I will be sending a copy of this letter to customer service with my own identifying information as well as the hotel's. I would like additional fees refunded, since this room, in spite of the amenities offered by the hotel and it's cleanliness, was neither safe nor relaxing for me to stay in independently.

I've stayed at this hotel several times and always find it to be a great choice. A pleasant surprise was the dining experience at the hotel restaurant. I rated the service & steak as a top 10 experience and returned home bragging about the hotel. I guess that was a fluke. My last stay-steak was probably one of the worst I have ever ordered-a new strip filled with grizzle. JUST awful! The service (in the restaurant) this time was equally as bad. When settling the tab on this "leathery" steak -the bartender/waiter did not even inquire about my dining experience or the food-especially since no one asked while I was dining.
Great hotel-always friendly staff-but I think I will definitely forego any future dining experiences inside the hotel's restaurant.

Everything about this Holiday Inn is great, from the employees, room, and bar-lounge. Friendly greetings whenever you encounter an employee. Everything that I have had on the menu is good. Live entertainment on the weekends is good too. Perfect place to stay if you wanna hit up a game. Thanks and look forward to coming back real soon!

Again everything was great, except, the price on the rooms went up because of demand, concert and game, normally the price is more reasonable,

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mfouch18 Convenient location can’t be denied
My sister and I choose to stay at this Holiday Inn simply due to the convenient location. We were attending a concert at the Wells Fargo Center and knew it would be an easy walk or quick taxi ride, rather than fighting parking. We’ve stayed at countless Holiday Inn’s in the past and neither of us nor many we have talked to since have experienced what we did.
Once getting to our room, we first checked out the view of Citizens Bank Park, which was great! My sister put her hand in “something” on the window sill and we thought nothing of it. We turned on the TV, started making a few phone calls and to my utter shock, I notice something hanging from the corner of the headboard. I could not even believe that I was looking at a used condom!! Utterly disgusted we called the front desk and after being put on hold a few times, we’re told that someone would come up to the room. Not a manager, but a gentleman who appeared to be a part of the cleaning or maintenance crew, gave us keys to a room across the hall and simply ushered us out. There was barely an apology! I’m sure this is the type of thing the cleaning crew sees on a daily basis, probably more times than I can imagine, but the fact that we had to see it should be unacceptable. To simply move us across the hall with a quick “Sorry” was upsetting. We refused to let it ruin our evening, and decided not to throw more of a “fit” about it, but thinking back on the events now, it truly is disturbing. What if my child would have found that, or put her hand in whatever it was on the window sill?!?!? Even offering a complimentary breakfast would have been a nice gesture. This brings me to the second downer of our stay. The breakfast buffet was disappointing as well. The food tasted fine, but the selection was minimal for the cost and our service was all but nonexistent.
Overall it’s obvious to me that this particular Holiday Inn cares very little about the details that make a hotel stay enjoyable simply due to the fact that their location can’t be beat. The only reason this review isn’t getting lower scores is due to the location. For anyone who is attending events at Citizens Bank Park, Wells Fargo Center, or Lincoln Financial Field, it can’t be beat. However, I will now seriously consider staying elsewhere despite the convenient location.

We couldn't have had a more relaxing time than we did at the Holiday Inn. The front desk stafff was extremely helpful and courteous as was the staff in the Stadium Bar in the hotel. In the bar, the food was excellent and there were many drink specials to choose from. We just had an all-around enjoyable stay at this hotel and would not hesitate to go back.

Phils25 If you don't want to sleep, you should stay here...
We're giving it a few stars because of its convenience to the stadiums.... but as far as being able to actually relax and sleep? Big negative points. This is a party hotel, and unless your neighbors pass out, expect to be up all night. At one point, calling the front desk was the only option, and the staff was VERY polite about coming up and saying something to our neighbors, but the walls are so thin that even with them "quieter," we were still able to hear everything. At some point, you just need sleep.
Also, this place is lacking upgrades/ maintenance. Our refrigerator made a clunking noise all night and the shower curtain looked like there was blood splatter all over the bottom (see pic.)
The outer room darkening curtains also did not close. They physically were unable to be shut, as they did not have the track installed to do so.
The staff should also inform guests of check out time and what facilities exist on site at check-in. We had to look up the info online to figure this out.
If you're in the mood for a sunshine filled room at the crack of dawn, loud neighbors all night (due to its location) and dirty rooms for the ridiculous price of this place, go for it.... We'll take a cab elsewhere next time we stay.

This is at least our tenth time staying here and we have never had any issues except for an occasional noisy guest staying on the same floor. YOU CAN NOT BEAT THE LOCATION! Walking distance to all stadiums and restraunts. Easy access to I95, close to airport. If there were any complaints I think the hotal food aoptions are not that good plus expensive. Front desk help is very good, always willing to help. Rooms are clean and offer great views.

I was given a very dirty room at first after a very long drive. I was so dissapointed. The room was not cleaned yet. The staff forgot to clean the room after the previous guest left. How could they assign the dirty room to a guest? It ruined their reputation! Later, I called the front desk and changed a room for me. A/C there was so noisy, plus I could hear people talking all the time near my room. This is a suit, simply separated by a clsoed door. I did not get enough rest that night. I would not go back to this hotel agian.

Wonderful staff and great service! I have been to this hotel before. Even on the very first trip they have treated me very friendly and like I have been coming there for years. I have to give special kudos to Sttef who works the restaurant and lounge. She always keeps me interested in hanging out and the food was very good. I was surprised that the restaurant / lounge had local acts come in. One night was a comedy act, DJ, Line dance class and they always had something going on. The only two negative things I can say are the pool tables were not usable due to renovation work and some of the fitness equipment needed repair. The renovation work will fix the first issue and the staff said they had the parts on order to fix the weight equipment! All of the employees that I have had dealings with has been awesome!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Cami25 restaurant & cleanliness of room.
I did not feel that the room was as clean as my previous stay there. There was a big gap between the shower head & the wall, which I found disgusting. The room also seemed sub-par when compared to my previous visit.
The restaurant was awful. We had to go to the hostess area & ask for menus. After which no one came to take our order. One of the workers came out with a " garbage can " & started to bus the tables. This was so disgusting that we decided that we needed to leave & go elsewhere for breakfast.
I must say that the people who worked the front desk & the van driver were very nice & accomodating. They were the only positive part of our stay @ this Holiday Inn.

Overall an average experience. Close to stadiums and airport so that is a good thing. While it was a fair experience, it's the little things that are remembered. In this case it was the Priority Elite recognition. The special check in was unmanned and my "gift" was 10% off at the attached bar. That left a lot to be desired.

Bathroom was dirty and didn't have fresh towels. Situation was quickly corrected, but I really shouldn't have been put in a room that wasn't completely serviced. Makes you wonder what else they didn't service. Shower water lines apparently hooked up backwards as the cold was hot and the hot was cold. Will never stay at there again

The room we stayed in had dirty towels still in the shower and stains on the carpet. The faucet was loose and the fridge wasn't cold. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the amount of people in the hotel and we had to wait in a long line or take the stairs to get up and down. Would not pay to stay here again. Total waste of money.

Had to make a quick visit to see family who had a bad fall. I choose the Stadium property because of location and recommendation. The time there was made enjoyable by the staff who are employed at this location. Any question or request I had was greeted with a kind smile and effort to accommodate our needs. The location of the property was great, with easy access to Broad St. I-76, I-95 and the Atlantic City express way. Thanks for making our stay a good experience.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rickBNA Lots of improvements
I work in the music biz and have stayed at this property numerous times over the years while doing shows at the arena's (going back to the Spectrum) I don't know why it got some bad reviews, it has gone through a much needed rehab and looks much nicer than it used to look. The staff is friendly, the price is right, it's close to the airport and right in the front yard of all four sports venues. THAT FACT needs to be considered when booking this property. DO NOT choose this hotel on a game day or concert day if your idea is to relax and have a peaceful nap. IT WILL NOT HAPPEN. Other than that advice, I recommend the hotel. The only negative I experienced was linen left in the hallway LONG after the housekeepers had gone (as in 1:00am)

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Excustomer Worse customer service: Don't bother!!!
OK, I never fill out these surveys but this place shouldn't be opperating under the HI name! The General Manager could care less, I requested 4 different phone calls from him and 3 weeks later still nothing. The accounting manager finally returned my call only after I called headquarters and complained. He finally corrected the amount they OVERCHARGED me. Claimed it was an error on the reservation and made it seem like he was doing me a huge favor by correcting what they did wrong! Front desk was nice enough but are not empowered to do anything! I was asked to show reservation; I did. Was asked to print reservation; I did. They could all see the price reserved at Holiday Inn, but all refused to correct and the GM was NEVER plus he NEVER returned phone calls. I have black listed this hotel from my Companies directory! They will never see another dollar from us and I'm almost to the point to remove HI from our list completly! AVOID AT ALL COST.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by chelle Fantastic Location - Hotel is less than stellar
This hotel is ideal for anyone attending a sporting event that doesn't want to drive to their hotel. Clearly this is what makes this hotel highly coveted and expensive. For the price paid the hotel is subpar. (Frankly you can stay at many actual Intercontinental Hotels for what we paid for this Holiday Inn.) The linens are not particularly comfortable and the walls are incredibly thin. (I was able to hear the people in the next room very clearly even when they were just talking in general conversational tones.) However the bar was good (great beer selection) and it was near the Stadium so the hotel sufficed. However now that I know there is public transportation nearby I will likely stay at a hotel of higher quality and use the transportation in the future.

We were there for the Army/Navy game. Prices were WAY inflated. The payoff was we didn't have to drive anywhere and be stuck in traffic. The room was fine. Bed comfortable, shower/water pressure fine. The only negative was the noisy next door neighbors. Staff was congenial and willing to help in any way. Restaurant was pretty good for what it was.
