Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Un Pleasent stay I normaly don't complain about a stay, stuff happens. But when I checked in the chain of events started. I would of over looked them all until I got no communication from the hotal manager what so ever. I checked in as was not even reconnized as a spire member. After I got to room I relized I wasnt even offered a welcome choise, I had to go back and ask the manager on duty if they even offered a welcome gift, his responce was "you wanted points right?" I said points is what I like but You didn't offer me any. He said sorry I relized that after you left? Really ?????Not even a call to the room to ask. On my second night there when I woke in the morning I got out of bed I got a terrible pain on the back of my left leg, looking at it I had a two inch long cut in it. I couldn't understand how until I did a closer look at the side of the bed, there was a broken bed spring sticking out of the matress. Now stuff happens, maybe it broke during the night. I pulled all the covers back only to discover that this must of happened before, I say this because there where six other holes where someone had opened up the matress and removed parts of broken springs. I brought this to the attention of the associate at the desk, told cim I got injured #cut# and he apploigized and I said I want the matress replaced. He then asked again "did I get hurt?" was he not listening?I said yes and gave him the room number again. I went to eat, a couple of minutes later he approced me and asked if I was an IHG member, Really?? Did you look at my hotel room info? I said yes, he said he was going to give me point for my inconveiounce, Long story short, that never happened and thats not the nature of my complaint. Did he tell his manager? If so why didn't manager have the courtisy to check on my well being since I was injured in his hotel. Not even an appoligy. October 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A place to relax in the big city Holiday Inn in North Phoenix is sort of like an island in the everyday outer city, just off I-17. Well kept grounds, a very nice pool and hot tub, good looking exercise room (but I only looked, shame on me), and very pleasant staff. Lobby is not expansive but is clean and offers tea, coffee as well as nice cold ice water from an obviously clean (because it is clear glass) dispenser, with adequate area to await friends, with a large TV to entertain if needed. King suite room was attractive, easy for us older ones to get around in, and allowed room and seating for inviting another couple to join us comfortably for conversation in the living room part. About the only thing I missed was to have at least a continental breakfast included. Nevertheless, this ranks in our minds as a good place to either just park for a night or better yet to spend a couple days while shopping around the North Phoenix area and relaxing at night, something we out-of-towners like to do. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sub par customer service I have stayed here in the past and have not experienced such a horrible stay. There are a lot of things that need to be fixed and are ignored. When issues were brought forward, it is met with ambiguity and passive aggressive attitudes. I travel at least one week out of every month and I value customer service. I did not find it at this hotel, so I will find another hotel for my future travel to this area. September 21, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good location outstanding service As you can tell this was not my first stay at this hotel that is why I have returned. The total service and care has be 100% at this location every time I have not had one issue. I have only eaten once at the restaurant for breakfast the service and food were very good. Your location will be number one on my list when I return to the area. September 9, 2015
