Although located in a great location and the staff was excellent, the care of this hotel was disappointing. The tub needs repair, the carpet was dirty, the curtains were stained and the bathroom door had been damaged by an animal. My question is why am I paying for a room that needs repair?

This Holiday Inn is very inviting. Nice, well lit parking lot and clean lobby area. Staff very polite and helpful. Loved the cozy little seating areas through out. The restaurant looked good, but we did not eat on site. Complimentary coffee conveniently located was nice. However, I was very disappointed in housekeeping issues in our room. The carpet was stained, furniture very dusty, bathroom door and decorative wall paper peeling and the bathtub was not clean. (The bed was clean and comfortable with lots of pillows). We always look for a Holiday Inn when traveling because we can depend on the quality. This one is the exception. Not sure what is going on - but will not stay here again and would hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Stayed for a wedding. Everything was wonderful. Writing this is like and essay, it's too long of an explanation.

I would have to say with the other hotels around this area this wasn't anything exciting. Being a platinum member we thought we might get a decent room, but was just a standard two bed room that just felt a bit work down (peeling wall paper, etc..). The front lobby looks like it was redone, but not much seems to be updated throughout rest of hotel (peeling paint all over ceiling in pool area).
Just not an exciting place to stay even with the indoor pool.

Good breakfast, clean comfortale room, Extremely competent staff. I rated the sleep as average, but that was because I'm a problem sleeper -- I can't usually sleep more than a few hours at a time; this is not the hotel's fault. The lighting in the room is bright enouugh for reading and working ---a major plus, since I've experienced a lot of hotels trying to save money by puttting no more than 60 watt bulbs or their equivalent in all the lamps. Overall, I was very impressed with this hotel.

After questioning the check-in staff we were told it had undergone a recent remodel. (I had stayed there years before, so knew the property was getting some age and if it didn't look good inside, we had prepared to leave.)
We stayed here because the lobby and check-in areas looked brand new and were very impressive.
Upon checking into our room we discovered it obviously was not a part of the remodel. The carpet was dingy and old, the wallpaper had black scuff marks and the tub had apparently had a hold that had been poorly patched. Also, the air conditioner was set on 65 and that was definitely not the case because it never seemed to be anywhere near cool, even after setting it lower.
Since it was late and we had been traveling the entire day, we decided to spend the night since the bed and the linens appeared to be clean and we didn't have the energy to look for another hotel.
Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in this stay and feel the lobby area and the staff's answers to my questions about the remodel misrepresented the accommodations. I stay at this chain often and feel like this does not represent their hotel well. I also feel like I deserve a refund.
