The complimentary drink per day offer is cancelled by the hotel management recently. IMHO, this should continue. Do you rather I book one night for 5 times to stay or one booking for 5 nights? Please reconsider.

Once again we had a great stay. The folks at the front desk bent over backwards to accomodate my famiy's needs. We greatly appreciate how much they care about their guests. Do need to organize the service at the breakfast buffet, however the staff was doing the best that they could to keep up with the large volume of guests.

the upgrades to the rooms were aesthetically nice, and the food at the restaurant was pretty good. That said, the service at the hotel was horrible.
There was no shuttle available to us, as the person had called off and no one was there to replace him. We did not have a car, and the taxis took forever to get there once we asked for them (taxis not your fault, but the lack of shuttle is).
Our first night at the hotel we waited 25 minutes to be sat at the table when there were maybe 5 tables occupied in the restaurant. We had dirty glasses at our table, and not enough silverware for our party. I requested that my steak be rare, and it came out medium well.
In fairness to the waitress, she was working her tail off, and went out of her way to make things right for us. Once the food came out, it was good.
My business colleague repeatedly had to get someone to let him in his room due to the batteries needing to be changed in his door lock. Toward the end of our stay, the maintenance person told him that he had known about it for a while an that he hadn't gotten around to it yet.
Then, his toilet ran for a good portion if the night, and no one was able to fix it until later into the morning after repeated requests.
We had complained to the front desk and to the restaurant staff during our stay, and not once did a manager approach us to see if they could help. I do not blame the workers there (they helped when they could#, but I do blame poor management for our negative experience.
I do want to thank the gentleman that checked us out, as he was probably the most attentive to our needs and showed concern for our experience.
I have been travelling for business since the early '90s, and always avoided Holiday Inn properties due to the lack of consistency in the product. After having an exceptional experience at your property in Steven's Point Wisconsin a few weeks ago, I decided to give you another try #signed up for your rewards program, etc.# and was completely disappointed.
I have one more stay with you planned next week, and if it doesn't go well, I will not stay with you again #except for the Steven's Point property, where I know the service is good.)

We arrived on May 25 freezing rain and cold from Puerto Rico our check in was in the after noon but we where not prepared my husband my 1 year old and I for this change in the weather we arrived at 9 am wet & cold and we where more worried for our son the lady at the front desk after explaining the situation allowed us to do an early check in I was very happy I was expecting an early check in at 2 pm but she let us check in at 9:30 a.m. this was really unexpected. We are very humble and gratefull for the staff at the front desk and overall for their work and attention during our stay. I was taking my grandparents ashes to the Long Island National Cemetery May 28, 13 and they allowed me late check out just in case there would be any delay.
hope that We can return again some day

The internet was weak or intermittent the first two days and non-existent the last day. I needed my WiFi.
I missed MSNBC in the channel listing as it is one of my personal favorites.
The outdoor pool was cold and did not seem to have a heater. For the cost of the room, this was disappointing. There were towels available , but the pool was full of wads of newspaper and after I did a cleanup of the pool there were still much cleaning to do. It took a number of complaints to the head desk to improve the situation.
The room was quiet and comfortable, but I am not sure I will return the next time I am in the area.

It was fortunate that we had a cold spell for a few of the seven days we stayed at your hotel. The air conditioning was so LOUD that it was impossible to stay in the room with it on.
The water pipes were very LOUD. We quickly learned to move the water lever very slowly
o cut down on the banging pipes. However, since it wasn't just in our room, when other guests used their water we were treated to LOUD banging.

We've rotated around and stayed in a variety of hotels in the area for a year now visiting my son, while he attended school on the island. This hotel is very comfortable, easily accessed from highway; was quiet and the staff are A+++ All staff!!
Great experience and we will return!
I do agree. The bed was a bit hard, but you get use to it! Rather it be hard than way too soft!

NOT VERY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. Desk staff at check in, about 10pm was very friendly and that was about the best of it. Was pleased to note that my member status provided us with complimentary breakfast the next day, and a complementary drink- but only one. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The layout of the hotel is a bit odd, and having all the rooms leading onto an enclosed outside walkway; makes the hallways very noisy when others are in the hall. The problems were with breakfast. Compt’ed or not, NOT worth it. It was one hour before the breakfast time would end, and all the tables were dirty, waited for 5 to 8 minutes for a table even though no one else was waiting to be served. It took even longer once we sat down to get a cup of coffee, and then when we got to the food serving area, it was a mess. Food all over the counters, the floors, and nothing left in the chafing dishes, no batter left in the make your own waffle station and just disgusting. It was as the staff did not bother to check the areas once they opened for breakfast hours earlier, and did not even bother to restock food items. Took another few minutes to find staff to ask about breakfast, and they said “…that breakfast was over in an hour and they would check to see if there was more in the back”. They never came back to tell us if there was or not. This was not a good attitude, nor the proper response. Disgusted with the ordeal, went back up to the room. Noting that check out was in an hour, called the front desk to request a later checkout. The phone rang until a message machine answered with a reply that the mail box was full. I tried another 4 times with the same results. Then I tried calling the information number and the same thing happened. At 20 minutes to regular scheduled check out a loud knock at the door and before I could walk across the room, the door was keyed open. Good thing I always keep the door lock on. Staff wanted to know if I would be out. I explained through the door, still half dressed that the front desk phones were out, and I tried to see if I could get a later check out by about ½ hour. The staff replayed that they knew that for weeks the phone system was not working. WEEKS!!!. Ok another wrong response. When we finally left the room I went to the front desk to explain about breakfast, the non working phone system and the staff that prematurely tried to get into the room, and their response was………. ”yes, we know the phone system has not been working properly for a few weeks, we are shorthanded, and by the way, how was your stay?” At that, I just smiled and said good day. No, I will not go back to that property again.

My husband, young daughter, and I had a great experience while staying. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and answered all questions that we had. We were able to dine right at the hotel and the food and service was great. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

My recent stay at the Hotel was consistent with previous stays and why I keep coming back. The king non smoking room was clean and well appointed, I was able to have both a frig and micro. The lobby staff were polite, pleasant and tried to be accommodating. My dealings with Mr. Patel via email were equally pleasant. The mattress in the room was a bit too hard, but I still slept well.
As a Priority member, I do have some suggestions:
-Offer free coffee in the lobby 24/7
- Priority members should be offered the lowest room rate right up
front, especially seniors and Triple A members.
- During the course of the stay, offer one free breakfast as a thank
you for coming back.
-I honestly felt that the prices were high for my stay and may have
to shop around a bit more in the future as it was a bit of a hardship
at the prices I paid.
-Always make sure to ask and apply any points earned during the

This property has obviously had some recent work and it shows. Was a bit disappointed that shuttle doesn't really take you anywhere and that a 7 mile cab ride is 30 bucks. The back door at hotel doesn't latch without effort so didn't seem great but area seems safe. Did not get greeted as gold member. Bar was fun(thanks Ken?) and ate munchies Friday night and dinner Sat. and the food was exceptionally good. Waiter (unknown name, middle age man),was dignified and enjoyed dining the best. Room nice and bathroom in great shape. Hotel not great if you don't have car but otherwise OK. Did call desk about cab and 1st call was blown off by staff, recalled and another young woman helpful on local info. Overall good and if needed to be in area would use again. Anyone in area should dine here. Beds great.

Always recognized by Laura, Kelly and Brian at the front desk as a Priority Club member and warmly greeted. Clean comfortable rooms. Max, Andrea, and Maurice in Bistro 46 make dining a pleasure and Christine and Ken at the bar are always a pleasure to be around after a day of work. Overall another pleasant stay.

I was very grateful for my recent experience at this particular holiday Inn. I was greeted by the front desk and told of my room upgrade and acknowledged as a gold member of the priority club which I much appreciated.
The room was spacious and very comfortable. the bedding was superb and I slept better than I had in along time.
Looking forward to the day that I return to this location

I had a LARGE mouse, or small rat in my room at 11pm.
I shouldnt have to add any more to the review but...
walls are paper thin. Hotel rooms were superficially remodeled.
Host in restaurant was obnoxious and seemed as if was in a contest with the waiter to provide service. He closed out my check prior to me finishing dinner...let alone any desire I may have had for coffee or dessert. This was not a value and should not be considered for any stay.
Front desk staff was courteous

Right from word go the impression you got when you walked in to the lobby was excellent, very clean and staff friendly, just arriving with my husband & youngest son from England to attend a funeral was not the most pleasent feeling and our first time in New York, not knowing our way around.. I can not thank the staff enough for the all the help and advice they were able to give,The food & waiters was excellent and being an x chef I am very hard to please, The staff were so lovely and could not do enough for you, you were not rushed to vacate the room each day so it could be cleaned..
The hotel was to a very high standard and could not fault it. We were so lucky to find this hotel and if we ever go back to New York I would book it in a heart beat
Nothing not to like about this hotel excellent.

I freequently stay at this hotel and dont take the time to compliment the management and staff enough. This hotel has undergone major renovations and appears to strive for continuous improvement in all aspects.
The staff is Fantastic. Laura and Kelly at the front desk make check in a pleasure and always have a smile when you walk by. The bar has a great happy hour and food and the bartenders Ken and Christine are fantastic.It amazes me thier ability to remember customers name and drinks even if they havent been there in a while.

It was a relief for my wife and me when we checked into our room for several nights at this H.I. Everywhere throughout the hotel was neat and clean. Our room, too, was quiet, clean and cozy, The bed was extremely comfortable with fresh linens. We wanted to be able to spend more time in the room instead of attending several of the planned family functions. We are looking forward to staying again at this HI now that we have family and friends on Long Island. Kudos to the entire staff for making our stay so positively memorable.

Do not stay at this location!! The floor is more comfortable!! I informed the General Manager that the beds were extreme hard, he stated the beds were only 2 years old and he was sory I had a bad nights sleep.

I travel to the Long Island area frequently and began staying here about 4 months ago . The Hotel has been recently updated and an excellent job as been done. The staff is wonderful and go out of their way to do what they can to make you comfortable. The rooms are clean and modern and of average size. Keep up the great work and I'll see you during my next visit.

I booked a room that was a non-executive level room and it was not as nice. The room was substandard, had very little amenities and the heater in the room smelled terrible when turned on. Further the carpet outside the room and the hallways were very dark and dingy. Compaired to the executive room the standard room is well below expectations.
