We asked for room 407 where we stayed before but the fan in the bathroom did not work, so asked to be moved to a different room. When we got there, the TV did not work but the front desk staff fixed the problem. The rooms are extra large and we never hear any noise. If you are a Priority Member you get a free breakfast in the adjoining restaurant. Our dinner was not the best and it took a half an hour to get our breakfast food. If we stay again, we will not eat there.

Be very careful when you book this hotel. This hotel caters to.construction and gas line workers. Exxon has gas line workers here along with crews who are building grain elevators in Corning AR. There are approx 85-100 of these workers who are being brought in on vans from Texas and Arizona. Many of them don't speak English.
These workers work 12 hour shifts 24 hrs day and ithe lobby is quite busy when the shifts change. One group goes out and another comes in. It can also be quite loud at night because your night may be their day. Beware of rooms located by the laundry room.
The rooms are filthy and they are not cleaned. I complained to the front desk, they apologized profusely said management would speak to housekeeping and it would be fixed. Next day housekeeping was worse than before. Asked for a member of mgmt to come up to see my room but they were gone for the day. Never did mgmt speak to me although I complained 2x to the front desk.
Ask for extra towels so you can cover the furniture when you need to sit on it. The elevators looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in awhile. I checked in on a tues checked out on Friday. Housekeeping replenishes towels/supplies but doesn't make the bed or clean the bathroom, don't clean the mirrors.
Workers were very polite and never bothered anyone, very respectful.
I am a rewards member and this was a new Holiday Inn experience for me. There are a lot of other choices. Can't wait until they finish building the new hotel in town.

I do not like that the breakfast coupons do not allow any other drinks than that of coffee, water, or tea. Continental breakfasts are better than that.

My sister had a stroke and was hospitalized at the hospital in Poplar Bluff. The staff was very caring and went out of there way to help us learn how to get direction. The room was very comfortable and relaxing, from siting at the hospital all day. It was like a home away from home. The breafast was made to order. They made my eggs just as I liked. If we have to make another trip to PoplarBluff we will stay at the
