Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed, great shower, dated and musty room Depending on my company, I either stay at the Holiday Inn or a much more modern competitor - my preference is for the Holiday Inn because of the grounds, the gym and the friendly atmosphere. However, the particular room last time although up to normal standards regarding the bed and shower - both great - smelled very musty and the a/c temp could not be accurately set. I expect that renovations will soon begin on the old tower block to modernise the rooms and furniture - in the meantime it would be nice to stay in a new apartment sometimes. June 30, 2014

Only negative was the carparking which was restricted due to ongoing works on the hotel and had to walk to and from the carparking area with luggage. Otherwise great value for money especialy in the Port Moresby. June 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely Time Out I've always enjoyed staying at the Holiday Inn because it's big and safe when on the property. One can enjoy the beautiful gardens for a leisurely walk or a swim in the pool or even just catching a game whilst having a drink at the Gekko Bar. I enjoy the rooms as they are comfortable and size is ample. My favourite feature would have to be the balcony. I love the idea of being able to come sit outside and enjoy the morning sun or evening lights. Service was great. Had a lovely young lady check me in, so friendly and professional. The rooms are now very well equipped, they're airy and comfortable. Improvements are continuing and there's something new to see and enjoy each time. Hopefully a second restaurant will be included sometime. June 24, 2014

Only then did it dawn on the member of staff. Missed my newspaper in the morning. June 9, 2014
