Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Port Moresby I stay at this Holiday Inn often for business purposes around 6 - 8 nights every 5 weeks. Whilst the hotel is undergoing a major upgrade both staff and management do their upmost to cater for everyone and also to ensure all have a great stay and they are very friendly. Nothing is a problem for the staff and they are extremely polite especially in the restaurant. Great variety of food and excellent service by all staff who work here at this establishment. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great all-round service Excellent, well-run hotel. I stayed there for four weeks, so really got to know the place. The rooms (in the garden wing, where I stayed) were very nice and spacious (if a little prone to mosquitoes, so some bug spray by the cleaners might be an idea), and very comfortable beds. Services were again great, though lack of free wireless is a real pain. Internet in PNG in general is very expensive, so I understand how Holiday Inn can't supply it. The restaurant does great food, the breakfast is excellent. The gym is top notch, with very helpful staff. The pool area is very nice, but could do with some more loungers so guests can sit in the sun. Super for longer-stay guests, like me, to have access to a laundry room, nice feature. All in all, a very pleasant experience, I'd certainly recommend it. March 30, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No Aircon In Summer - doors would not lock Offered no value for money. Doors would not open or lock correctly and the facility had no Airconditioning - claimed it was fixed but it never came on so provided mis information constantly. March 20, 2013
