We could not have been happier with our stay at the Harborview. The location is excellent and the staff was very courteous and helpful.
Walking distance to good meals in town and a view that can't be beat.

We stayed in your hotel last month and were very disappointed in the accommodations. The cleanliness was okay, but the room was disheveled and it seemed as though the management and the staff did not care about the appearance of the room or the guests that might be staying in it. The bed was old and a topper was placed on it, in an attempt to make it comfortable. The curtains on both sides had rips more than a foot in length, the plaster around the windows and air conditioner was chipping and cracking, the bed skirt was so wrinkled it was as though it had been rolled up into a ball in storage before it was placed on the bed and there were spider webs and spiders in two spots of our room. When we went to the hallway to head to the front desk to alert the staff, there was a table in the hallway that had two stacks of linens on it and I can guarantee that the table was not clean since we had just seen food and drinks discarded on it.
I was upset that a member of the housekeeping team would not appreciate that this would not be sanitary or acceptable for a guest to see when staying at a hotel of this nature or for the price that one pays to stay at this location.
When my partner and I went downstairs to alert the staff, the front desk clerk went behind the scenes for a moment and then came back and said that she couldn't refund our room since we had paid cash, even though we had put our credit card on file. She also indicated that for our inconvenience she would give us 4000 points, which she would add into our rewards account. We, at no time saw a manager or did we feel that this was the way that this should have been handled. I expected superior, understated service with outstanding facilities as your website suggests. As the pictures indicate, this fell far from our expectations
More importantly, your staff failed to satisfy the customer, offer an alternative or provide a manager to help solve the issue. I am truly upset at the fact that the clerk or the manager thought that giving us 4000 points would satisfy our minds in regards to this stay. After almost a month, I thought it was important that you knew about this situation.

Simply put, this is an excellent location, we had a wonderful view, the restaurants were great, and everyone was very friendly.

View is outstanding and very relaxing. Room needs some upgrading for the price. Had a suite. Chairs were very worn on the arm rests. Spa was great. Room could have been cleaned a little better between nights. Then they forgot to put Kleenex and toilet paper in room. I called down and the Kleenex came up quickly. I asked where is the toilet paper and she said" she forgot it and to come down to the desk because they were very busy". In our package we took the breakfast plan. Well when you went down for breakfast they said " only limited breakfast because of the holiday weekend which showed 5.95. I wonder if we were charged less in our package? The orders never came out right either day. I must say there were never more than two tables with guests. I wonder why?
