Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Smelly Dirty Room pleasant staff An overall disappointing stay for the shorten period I had to stay here. they were "booked" due to a convention. so when I complained about a smoke smelling room I got that excuse for the next room I was placed in. Mind you I had been on sales calls all day and night and I was ready for bed and got to the here later than expected. So the excuse that it was late and they were booked was really unfortunate to hear. This is my first unpleasant stay with this establishment in general I would check with the staff before booking to make sure there is not a convention of sorts. This way you might get a room that was not run down or smelly like mine was... The staff was nice but the rooms were very undesirable to stay in. I expected more from them to be honest. March 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Excellent staff, comfortable room! This is my second time staying at this hotel. The beds are comfortable, could use a firmer pillow. Overall, the staff is great! LOVING THE OMELETTE STATION, that was new to this visit. I've stayed in other "suites" and felt like the hotel just put more stuff in the same size room; not so here! The King Suite had plenty of space, not crowded. Great for secluded work or resting space! Would recommend, will be staying again! February 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Option for Stay Prior to Flight We had a mid morning flight from PDX and checked in to the Holiday Inn the evening before; we love the option that we could leave our car in the parking lot, feeling it was secure and know that we would have shuttle to and from the airport. We checked in to other hotels near the airport and found a 10 day limit for cars at some. I was familiar with Holiday Inn, I received a friendly response when I called to inquire and confirm that we could leave our car for two weeks so booked our room.The hotel was clean, attractive and we received a voucher for breakfast and a drink voucher. It was nice to relax with a glass of wine in the evening after we checked in and we enjoyed breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was not stellar, but considering it was included in the cost of our room it was OK. We would definitely book a room next time we fly out of PDX. We were quite satisfied. We have stayed at other Holiday Inns throughout the country and found them to be reliably clean and staff courteous. February 25, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Portland Holiday Inn Airport The only problem at the hotel was that my room happened next to the elevator which made it impossible to get any sleep. The staff and service were very good however not getting any sleep made my experience not very well. The food at the bar/lounge were good but the service was slow as only one person was working at the time. February 23, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Confused I arrived at the hotel at 1:30 PM and was cheerfully greeted by the counter person. I introduced myself and immediately the person took my information and within seconds thanked me for being a platinum member and told me that they had already upgraded me to a suite but the suite was not ready. I understood and told him that I could use the time to get caught up on my work using their nice lobby. The nice lady at the coffee counter recognized me and offered to assist me in purchasing a fresh cup. After 3:00 PM I walked over to the counter to see if my room was ready but the original person wasn't there so I spoke to another person. This man greeted me (with a lack of sincerity) and then proceeded to look me up in the computer. After staring at the computer for several seconds, like he was having a hard time finding my reservation, he thanked me for being a loyal member and started checking me in. He handed me my room key and I proceeded to my room. When I arrived to room 301 I found it to be a standard room and not an upgrade. I'm confused. I was told that they had already assigned me an upgraded room. I was patient for almost two hours working in their lobby. I have stayed at this same hotel many nights in the last 12 months and have brought many other associates with me who also stayed at this site. Is this how you treat your frequent visitors? I have two upcoming stays already confirmed #6636491 & #66358522. I am cancelling them today. Regards, February 23, 2015
