Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value for park and fly! This hotel was recommended by friends for a good park and fly experience. The hotel was still under construction but it wasn't a big deal to get around. The room was clean and had plenty of room for our suitcases. It would have received a five star except for the odd smell - we saw a maintenance person in the hall and asked about it and he thought it could be from the laundry below us. After being in the room a while it was not very noticeable so not that big a deal. For the price we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room and the parking lot seemed very secure with lots of lighting and people around who were monitoring it. We left our car there for two weeks and had no issues. Really appreciated the shuttle driver, he was courteous, helpful and prompt to pick us up at the airport when we arrived back home. Just nice staff and people all around. The restaurant was fine, nothing exceptional but good every day type food. We will definitely stay here again based on the cleanliness, price and great staff. The restaurant was closed but the bartender went back to the kitchen and prepared a breakfast package to take on the plane. Great service. May 15, 2013

Nice to be able to leave the car for over two weeks. The remodeled lobby is very nice and I'm sure the restaurant/bar will be nice also once it's done. May 14, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Would Not Stay on My Own Initiative Attended conference May 6th- 8th. Facility difficult to access and remote from business areas. During both check-in and check-out female attendant at front desk was unsmiling at best; surly at worst. The bartender was the same when I stopped by lounge to visit with friends and have coffee late May 6th. All other staff were good to exceptional. May 14, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 as always, very pleased. All was excellent with the exception of the food service and restaurant. I am sure this was due to renovations being made as this never was an issue in the past. Overall stay was very pleasant and staff was helpful and courteous as always. Will continue to stay at this HI during future Portland visits. May 8, 2013

The staff have all been pleasant, professional and helpful, and called me by name by the 3rd day. While the make-shift restaurant is not ideal, the food quality is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. Clean, comfortable room; easy access to everything; a pleasure of a stay. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No breakfast but... Good location and nice property, but was expecting something for breakfast. They had a coffee stand in the lobby for expensive coffee drinks. There also was not a jacuzzi in the pool area which was surprising. But the room was nice and had easily accessible wifi. For the money I expected at least coffee if not breakfast and hot tub, but other than that, it was a nice stay. April 25, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Don't get a single queen room unless you are a fan of trains. The only thing louder than the constant rail traffic was the dysfunctional heater unit. Want clean sheets? You'll have to beg. This place was horrible! April 22, 2013
