Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not prepared for holidays and strong smell in the room Many services were not available during the holidays, which is very complicated for a city like Porto Alegre, as many establishments are closed during the holidays. Many services were not available since the christmas, so the hotel was not offering the SPA services as announced. I wanted to do a simple stress relief massage - not available. The hotel should be more prepared, as we will have the football world cup in 2014, and during the brazil games, it will be a federal holiday, which means the spa service will not be available again. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable bed and very nice staff. I usually stay every year ,for a week or more.Overall,is a good Hotel,but the food is just...fair. Also,the staff is very nice,but some of the front desk attendants,are clearly novices,with no experience whatsoever. The location is very good,but at same time is extremely noise all night long,and even more since early morning. That`s why I requested the highest floors,and final 05 rooms. I`m a Gold member and I like the Holiday Inn,so I suggest that the food ( or the cooker) improves. September 27, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Noise all the time I suffered from the loud talks of the housekeeping in the common areas beneath the rooms since early morning in a Sunday. I also had a terrible experience the day before when someone in a room next to mine let the TV on and went out for party late in the night. I called front desk but Jeferson was unable to hand the situation properly, so I had to wait more than 1 hour for the security to get into the room and turned the TV off. Really a lack of professionalism. June 17, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Holiday Inn hotel! The room was dirty, with hair strands in the main room and bathroom. To top it there were bugs in the bathroom. After requesting the front desk to get this sorted out it was still there! Very unhappy with my stay. May 2, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best place to stay in Porto alegre I loved and recomended it, the Holiday Inn Porto Alegre has a fantastic restaurant where you can enjoy a very nice and delicious meals. The room is perfect with wonderfull shower. From the airport you are able to take a bus T-11, confortable directly to the hotel with air conditioned with a lower price, the bus stop is pratically in front of the hotel, you just need to ask to the driver to advise you, of course if you want you can do it by taxi too.
