Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dazzer77 Short break in Porto
Hotel is located away from the main Porto city area however a short trip on the metro and your there.I was kinda disappointed that the hotel was a bit far away but changed my mind as the area it is located in is friendly and safe.Checking in took a bit long but got there as i was looking for a river view and was early to check in.Room was spotless and when i asked could i get the key to open the balcony door it was not a problem. On checking in breakfast was said to be included however on arrival to the breakfast area i was informed i 'd have to pay.So we made our way to Churrasqueira-Novo Rumo on the main street down from the hotel which was very good nothing to much to ask for.The yellow and red tour buses run near to the hotel .If i had to be picky i think the location is the main problem and would probably stay in the InterContinental next time in Porto.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Darkblue750 Hotel great base for Oporto visit
The modern hotel is a great base for exploring a wonderful city. While the hotel is a couple of miles out of the City Centre, taxis are cheap and quick, and the hotel staff are very helpful to guide visitors in the right direction. The hotel itself is lively, used by air crew and coach parties as well as the independent traveller, and as an IHG platinum member, I was allocated a super upgrade into a suite which gave stunning views across the city - and Oporto is a city well worth seeing.
