Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff Comfortable hotel in downtown Preston. Good Things - Run by a friendly and helpful crew. Hotel has recently struck an arrangement with business next door to offer extra overnight parking from 6pm to 7am. Not so Good - Wish they would sort out Room TV channels. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Below expectations The first room I was given had a dirty toilet with waste from the previous guest. I then asked for a second room, which had a dirty sink - with hair and shaving foam but I accepted it as it was because it was late. Apart from the above, the rest of the room looked good and nicely furnished. The room was quiet and the staff was polite. January 30, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Preston If you are driving to the hotel, there is very limited parking. The reception being on the first floor, means having to drag your luggage around a little more, but there are lifts provided. Both were working while I was there. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which to be honest made the hotel. It is their hard work and friendly outlook to their customers that gave this hotel the score I gave. The food is very basic, but it is okay. It was cooked well, arrived in good time and served by another friendly member of staff. The room is typical of holiday inn, straight forward and in generally good condition. However the heating didn't work, but the room temperature was okay throughout. Being situated next to a bus station it does get a little noisy but not unbearable. Overall it does what it is supposed to at a reasonable cost. January 19, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Fix the shower! The shower had little more than a dribble and was tepid. On an icy morning that was most unwelcome. Add to that that the radiator never fully warmed the room and I was was uncomfortable for the whole stay. The room service menu was disappointing and over priced. Not everyone likes junk food. The staff and the service were great as was the room although it would have been better with a table. January 18, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff, noisy room. If staying here, avoid the bus garage side rooms as every time a bus departs, it sounds as though they are goint to enter your bedroom, this isnt helped by the poorly insulated January 18, 2016
