Car park totally unsuitable for the size of the hotel. Only about 25 ( I didn't actually count) parking spaces. Although double yellow lines were there, they were ignored with cars parked haphazardly on them making it very difficult to exit the car park to then find the way around the one-way system to the public car park.
Also directions to the hotel, even with a sat-nav, were not very clear making the later part of my 350 miles journey rather stressful.

My wife and I realised that we were dating whilst having a drink at this hotel so great memories. We have been back several times since and always get great service. Cannot fault this hotel and I use hotels frequently. Well done again and look forward to coming back soon. The only gripe was the price of the bottled water and the Coke

Had to add in another day and used a second reservation ahead of time but they messed up my bonus points and lost a qualifying stay.

A good standard as you would expect from Holiday inn. The gym is great! - over looks the city as its on the top floor! Breakfast really good too. I did not get recognition for being a pc member though.

We stayed for a Valentines break. Got a great rate for room and breakfast. The room was very clean and tidy with everything we needed. We planned to go out for a meal but the weather was poor so we ordered room service which was very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We have stayed her before and would go back. Breakfast was really good, lots of choice.

It was a brilliant stay at this hotel. Manned by expert and caring professionals (from the reception staff to the guys manning the restaurant), our stay was indeed a memorable one.
However, the negative side of our stay was about the parking space. Although you have the local council operated parking area to used, it's not enough to provide you with comfort whilst walking from the parking area back to the hotel under the rain!

Stayed over for works Xmas party. Considering number of people being served food was hot, tasty and well presented. DJ / musical entertainment seemed to be really enjoyed for those who wished to partake. Room was clean, bright and a good nights sleep was certainly enjoyed. Breakfast was good value with a more than adequate choice to eat. In terms of amount paid for room and food combined more than happy. Will certainly stay again. Finally a big thank you to the staff. Extremely pleasant and more than willing to help at a very busy time.

Stayed New Year's Eve and Day.
Couldn't fault the rooms, staff and food, particularly the special offer dinner on N.Y's Eve.
Would certainly recommend.
