Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SERIOUSLY EXPERIENCED TRAVELER'S Traveling 3 months a year - every year since 1995 - business travel - As you can well imagine we have stayed at some not so 'OK' spots & some 'GREAT' facilities. - WE HAVE LEARNED to always hold out for a HOLIDAY INN or a HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS - they are all slightly different - but none including the property in PRICE, UTAH have ever disappointed - The NEIGHBORING RESTAURANT though was strange - they nuked the sweet roll #REALLY YUKKY# and insisted on walking my spouse back to our room - #citing a screaming hot plate# BUT she let him carry it ... ; ) My husband is thinking it's all about the tip anyhow ?!? - but a TIP & no utensils later ... :-# We ordered from here twice - both times we're a bust! Anyhow - the hotel staff sweet and endearing -- completely sincere as opposed to neighboring restaurant - that handles the food for hungry hotel guests ... all in all? I'd go back in a heart beat - but dine someplace else in PRICE, UTAH - DO NOT AVOID THE PRICE UTAH HOLIDAY INN - only the restaurant! January 25, 2014

I've stayed at this property several times in recent years... each time hoping the owners will spend some badly-needed money to upgrade the outdated rooms, furnishings, decor, etc. Sadly.. this has not happened. While other contemporary Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Exp. locations have remodeled with modern conveniences and decor, this place has not. And when I spend more than $100 for a night ( much higher in summer months ) in a remote part of Utah...I want to get my money's worth. My latest experience began when I booked my room over the phone (I have 'Platinum Elite' status for IHG membership), with a very irritated-sounding woman on the phone. After checking in, I discovered the TV remote was working properly with the television. For more than 30-min I tried to get the thing to work (I stay in a LOT of hotels... averaging 90-100 nights per year... so I know how to operate many different remotes). I called the front desk...TWICE.. for help and each time was told mntce would come by and assist. I looked around my 1980s room with the tired old wallpaper, cheap carpet and armchair, and low-budget decor...and wondered why I kept coming here. I reflected on my initial impressions when checking in, the woman at the counter instructed me that when I receive the IHG online survey to complete, to "....please give us a 10 rating after your stay"...I thought this was very forward and intrusive as a guest. Suggestion: this property needs to take a serious look at their Customer Service initiatives, their existing maintenance procedures, and pour some $$$$ into updating the entire facility. I realize you consider yourself a full-service property, but try showing your guests you care about their comfort and experience when they stay with you. December 22, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by New Desk Staff required I stay at this hotel regularly due to my travel requirements. Never have I been recognized for being a Platinum member, never received a room upgrade and never a complementary bottle of water. This time was especially bad. One person at the front desk who seemed to be completely unprepared to handle more than one guest at a time. She swore at least 6 times checking in the group ahead of me. I waited 30 minutes to check in while a young girl sat on a stool lamenting that she did know how to do anything to help. To top it off, the wing I was staying in lost power in the middle of the night and I had to call the desk to , in their obvious hesitation, arrange to be moved to another room. To bad Price, Ut doesn't have other choices...this would have been my last stay. December 11, 2013

When I mentioned to the front desk of this experience it was kind of blown off and laughed about. I just want to ensure that this does not happen to any other guests. * I would ensure that each room is marked in the computer if it is occupied. December 6, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hoilday Stay Rooms and staff were great. Noise level was terrible people were yelling and slamming doors in all directions all night. Beds were comfortable and pillows but getting woke up every 3 hours by loud people was a terrible way to start the 9 hour morning drive. While the rest was needed it was disappointing not to get breakfast Thanksgiving morning on top of that! December 5, 2013
