They didn't know which side of the hotel our room was so they didn't know which door was closest. I didn't have a good sleep because the mattresses in both beds were sagging. October 28, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not Happy With the Desk Staff Had a reservation, was recognized as an Elite Member on check-in, and from that point on, was not treated as an Elite. Was assigned to a room on the 4th floor at the end of a long corridor. It was the farthest room from the desk in the entire hotel. After toting suitcases on a luggage cart (we had 5 bags) and noticing that we were the only residents on that floor, I called the desk and inquired why we were assigned that room. The desk clerk said that it was an "auto fill", assigned by the computer when the reservation was made. When I asked why he had not assigned another room (the hotel had very few guests that evening - the parking lot was empty), he said he had not thought of it. This is the same hotel where I had been upgraded to a suite twice (without requesting it or realizing it until reaching the room). The clerk offered to reassign me to another room, but I did not want to haul my baggage at that time of night. I was an elite one moment, and after asking if I preferred a bag of snacks or points, my elite status was forgotten. The clerk should have gone the further step to realize where my room was locate before giving the card to me. October 21, 2015
