Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by About average, can use some improvement The name is bit deceptive. It is not at the historic center, rather about a $40p cab ride. The property is nice looking but the experience with the stay was not worth it. First, booked a garden view room, got a roof view but was not offered a refund for the price difference :-( No recognition for being Platinum elite, no one at the hotel responded back to my inquiries about scheduling a shuttle from the airport (the hotel offers one). Front desk is barely helpful, restaurant service is downright rude. Rooms are a long walk from the sole elevator. Internet was spotty. The only good thing was bellhop Manuel who went out of his way to help. There is a new HI express right next door which is pretty new and I checked into that after two nights. It was a much better experience there. April 12, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Things changed. Use to be a favorit hotel. Well, things change every time. My last stay at this hotel, where I have spent several nights every year for the last 30, was not pleasent this time. The people at check in and check out, both, were talking in the phone for more than 15 minutes before attending me and other people waiting. The buffet which use to be great, not any more. Quality has been down a lot. Internet not working very good. Pillows are very bad, bad,bad. Amenities in the badroom only shampoo and cream. That is it. March 13, 2014

The desk spoke english and was patient with me as I stumbled through my attempt to speak Spanish. The food was excellent. I was only able to eat breakfast but I looked forward to it. I will definitely stay there during future visits to Queretaro. March 11, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Old and Dated This Holiday Inn is in desperate need of an updating. The Air Conditioning is extremely noisy and I was forced to turn it off to sleep. The beds are old and need to be replaced. All in all, this is not one of the better properties. I am Platinum with Holiday Inn, but will not stay there again. March 7, 2014

Check-in was slow and instead of asking they gave a room directly on the main road - which is very loud. The room smelled humid nearly ugly. The part of the builing with the rooms Needs some maintenance. Long ways to go... Internet was free, the breakfast perfect, the waiters pretty incompetent.. February 21, 2014

They seem bothered that they have to wait on you and give you the feeling they are looking down their nose at you the whole time. Not friendly or polite the word COLD fits them well. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Queretaro Holiday Inn Centro Air conditioner only worked intermittently, took a week to get my safe and refrigerator unlocked. The hotel kept having events and there were no parking spaces available for hotel guest, even though they charged us $10 a day for parking. Almost impossible to get to the entrance of the hotel because of traffic on the frontage road that the Hotel is located on. February 14, 2014

The pool is really nice and the courtyard surrounding the pool is very lush. The outside eating area is one of my favorites. This would also be a great place for a wedding with the outside eating area adjacent to the pool. February 5, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Family Holiday Gathering We had such a nice time during this stay with the whole extended family. The green area aside the pool is great for the kids while we enjoyed a fresh drink. The day we arrived, we we went for dinner with the two kids and dinner to be served took "forever". Server would not advise us that it will take such a long time especially if you travel with kids... Until we told him to cancel everything, suddenly the plates came immediately to our table. Another comment is that Bell Service would not offer any help even when they saw us coming in with 2 little boys and two pieces of luggage for check-in. Travelling with family and with little kids turns out to be so much demanding and with higher expectations on those little details that would make such a difference. But it simply did not happen. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice stay, very nice facilities I very much enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful for a traveller that speaks very little Spanish. The hotel grounds are very well maintained and the food acceptable. The only item that I didn't understand was the requirement to get a parking ticket when entering and then having to use it to leave. This seemed very non-value added and only confused me when I went to leave and had to take that ticket back in to have it validated in order to leave. The process seems like it would be an opportunity to eliminate something that is non-value added. December 12, 2013

We always stay at your hotel and bring our customers to your hotel because of the exceptional quality of your hotel, your usually friendly and helpful staff, your breakfast buffet and the convenience of your transportation services. On this trip we were extremely dissatisfied with your person running the transportation services. During the week I was there, we had nearly 20 Siemens employees and customers that required transportation back to the hotel. On Tuesday, we filled one van and asked that the van return to pick of ther remaining 7 people, which included 5 Siemens customers. Your manager of the transportation refused to send back a van. It took more than an hour for that group to get three taxi's to get them back to the hotel. It reflected poorly on Siemens. It reflected poorly on the Holiday Inn. This should not happen. Much to my surprise almost everyone at the hotel was bi-lingual and extremely friendly honestly the service was better than most hotels that I have stayed at state side. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service!!! We spent 3 nights here in October, 2013. The room was spacious and clean - very comfortable bed. Everyone associated with the hotel from the front desk to the wait staff and housekeepers were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar had a good selection of food and drinks as well as outstanding service. Our only complaint was that we were not within walking distance of any downtown attractions, although taxi service was readily available and inexpensive. Would absolutely recommend this as the place to stay in Queretaro!!! November 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel This was my first visit to Queretaro and I had no idea what to expect. My only other trips to Mexico were to resorts in Cancun and Acapulco. The hotel more than met my expectations. The rooms were very nice, the pool area was great to look at although we worked so much we never got a chance to use it. The food at the restaurant and grill was very good and so was the service. Speaking of service..... Daniel and Reuben are outstanding! Two out of the five nights we were there, we had to work very late and arrived back at the hotel after the restaurant had closed. Daniel and Reuben took care of us and made sure that we didnt go to bed hungry. Gracias Amigos. October 27, 2013
