King suite had lots of room including big bathroom with double sink and great shower. Very clean, comfortable bed and pleasant staff made for a very enjoyable overnight stay. One of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. Recommend highly.

Overall, a very nice property. Our room was fine, as was the bathroom. We had no problems with noise, even though we stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. The front desk staff was very cordial and accommodating. However, the restaurant is not great. Our breakfast was mediocre at best. And the bed pillows? I'm not sure when pillows the size of campfire marshmallows came into vogue, but they were sorely lacking.

Manager and most staff were incredible. One hostess day we arrived seemed to be annoyed that she had to check us in. Pillows need replacement. Best place to stay in Quincy.

I had a great experience at the Holiday Inn Quincy. The front desk gave excellent customer service and were always willing to help. We were waiting for a taxi and the front desk said that we could wait at the bar and they would come and get us when the taxi arrived. It's that attention to detail that really impressed me.

I was pleased with the recognition at check in for IHG elites, and the availability of a corner room, away from the general noise and the elevators. The room was quiet, even with all the activity on the property this weekend. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, with plenty of towels. Even though we didn't eat breakfast, or any other meals at the hotel, having just coffee was very good. The bottemless cups of coffee to start the days, was excellent.
The staff was always courteous and pleasant.

The staff is very friendly. Don't forget your license when checking in, for safety.
They finally put real half-n-half creamers with the coffee service table. Thank YOU!.
Now, if the hotel can look into putting key locks on the outside entrance doors, so that guests can enter back thru the exit doors, this will provide another and faster way to walk up and down from a guest room. The elevators are a bit slow, which is to be expected, but the elevators are at the very end of one hall. So, if you are staying at the other far end, it's a walk. Most hotel properties have key card entrances so that people can make use of stairs. Perhaps this property can look into it. It's painful to take the elevator down one floor, when you can walk up or down quicker.
The entire staff are very nice and accomodating.

One of the main reasons i chose the Holiday Inn was the fact that it had a restaurant and bar. On those stormy spring nights, it would be nice to be able to dine in the hotel and relax.
I tried the restaurant twice and was sorely disappointed both times. The club sandwich was so salty that I couldn't eat it. When the server asked if I was through, she didn't even ask how i enjoyed the sandwich with just one bite taken. I guess she thought I loved it.
On night two i asked for a cheeseburger without the bun. When it arrived 30 minutes later, there in the center of the plate was a cheeseburger without a bun, and without lettuce, and without tomato, and without a pickle, and without fries. When I told the manager that I expected everything but the bun, he said he was sorry and he should have asked me about the accompaniments.
End of conversation.
I don't think I'll be dining there again. However, I will stay there since it is a nice hotel and in a good location for work. This could be an excellent hotel with a little training and attention to the kitchen and wait staff.

My sister and I stayed 2 nights. Room was clean, but maid just straightened the covers instead of making the bed.
We had a couple of problems in the restaurant, both at breakfast. Scrambled eggs were the worst I have had. My sister ordered the cinnamon roll and after waiting 20 minutes for it, it came very doughy in the center. She sent it back and had a piece of my toast.
I think having some umbrella tables and chairs instead of picnic tables out on the deck in the back of the hotel would be nice. Especially if there was bar service out there.

We stayed in 3 Holiday Inns during our trip in IL. All were comfortable with one big exception: the toilets are too low for two 70+ guests. Since all 3 Inns had low toilets we decided this now is standard for the chain and further, we cannot stay in Holiday Inns on any future trips. It's a shame since everything else was fine: great beds, attentive staff, nice amenities.

One issue - a little dust hanging from the bathroom lighting fixtures.

I've stayed at this HI 3 or 4 times on business. If you are in Quincy it may be the best hotel there in terms of quality, comfort, and a convenient restaurant. Of course you'll pay more for all of this, but if it's important and cost isn't a factor, by all means try it! I've stayed at 5-6 other Quincy hotels both downtown and farther out, and it has been the best in my opinion. Can't say enough about the staff and management, all professional enough to make you think you're in a big city (ie, Chicago) hotel. I recently lost a very small item there and Adam (manager?) went way beyond the call to find it and offer to ship it to me. It looks on the outside like it's a Holiday Inn Express, so don't make the mistake of thinking that and getting a free breakfast. However, the in-hotel restaurant is great and Priority Club members get a $5.00 coupon off the price of dinner or breakfast. The food is quality, very reasonably priced, and fast. Beds are top notch. Rooms have been quiet even in the summer. The only improvement I'd ask for would be an ergonomic desk chair at the table for business travelers. I've never used any of the amenities such as pool or exersize room.

The coffee service in the A.M. is average. If the hotel provided real creamers, instead of powdered packets, it'd be much nicer. Also, the exit doors to outside don't have key openers so you can't walk back in from the outside. They have 2 elevators, and if you want to walk the stairs, which is quicker, you can exit the hotel, but you cannot re-enter thru the doors, which is not like any hotel. They need to put in key entry doors. Otherwise, you wait to ride the slow elevators.

Everything was nicer than typical especially for the price point.
Except ONE VERY IMPORTANT thing: The pool was un-swimmable because it was too cold.
Also the bed was as hard as a rock.
I really want to like this hotel; It was new and had full service (like room service and conference facilities and a full bar and restaurant, etc...)
I picked a full-on holiday inn and not a holiday inn express style property like the comfort inn or town and country inn or some of the other older choices in quincy because this looked perfect.
But stuff disappointed.
They just need to turn up the pool heat.

My husband and I pulled into Quincy around 1:30 AM looking for a nice hotel and found the perfect place. The Holiday Inn was new and clean, staff were friendly. It was great! Also, we purchased the breakfast along with the room - the breakfast was awesome. We would definitely recommend this to others!

We stayed here Thanksgiving week so we wouldn't over crowd our host family. This hotel was exemplary in everything; comfort, cleanliness, style. We checked in during early afternoon, then later when we went back to our room, our keycard didn't work. The fellow at the desk was so apologetic, as you want when a mistake has been made. It wasn't a big deal and we appreciated his manner. All in all, this is a great place to stay, and we will again. Also we used Priority Club points to get this room free. Some Holiday Inns have given us less-than-desirable rooms when we used points. This was a beautiful room. Highly recommend this place.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Stayed Fri and Sat and had a great experience. Would recommend this holiday inn. I stay in hotels a couple hundred times a year and this was one of the best.

Stayed overnight on a Saturday and found this to be a very nice Holiday Inn. One of the best HI's we've visited. Rooms were very clean and I loved the modern decor. Bathrooms had beautiful vanities and nice shower. Bed was very comfortable.
Had drinks in the bar and breakfast in restaurant the next morning. Both were enjoyable. Loved the style of those areas, as well as the lobby. Staff was courteous and friendly.
While this may not be the largest Holiday Inn, it is definitely one of the nicest.

first of all i would like to say that my stay at this hotel is great ive stayed here probably at least 40 or more nights. The reason im writing this review is that not one room has a fridge, now if i plan on staying a week or longer i would like to have a fridge they even have a spot for one also this is not a express holiday so i dont know what there deal is. On another note im a platinum member and any IHG hotel i stay at they never offer me a room upgrade so why even have that option as a platinum member. those are my only complaints for now.
