Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Front Desk Clerk knows her Customer Service! Although our stay was brief, we hope our next visit to Raleigh will be longer. A charming place, great baseball and very courteous people. And we know when we do come back we will stay at the Holiday Inn, Raleigh North-Midtown. That is as long as they still have "Miss N" their front desk clerk lending a helping hand. She went well beyond the usual "customer service" to ensure all the guests had a most enjoyable stay. When you walk into the lobby her greeting makes you feel like you were one of the family returning home for a visit. The room was very nice, clean and beds were wonderful to sleep on! We only had breakfast there but it was a great price and tasted delicious! This has become our favorite hotel. May 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Experience We blocked rooms for family and friends for my daughter's wedding. Unlike some other hotels in the area, the reservation staff was so courteous and helpful when we blocked the original rooms. We knew that it was the busiest week-end in Raleigh (area graduations and Mother's Day), but the HI staff didn't make us stupid for choosing this week-end for a wedding. And they didn't gouge us with higher rates! Everyone was able to make reservations easily through their reservation system. The hotel was perfectly situated to the wedding venue and was easy for guests to find. The beds were so comfortable; I actually slept the night before the wedding! This was one portion of a wonderful week-end that was effortless and totally taken care of without worries. May 20, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Expected better service The room needed some cleaning when I checked in. The bath tub would not drain. I went downstairs(since they did not respond to my phone calls) and requested front desk for help. Manager was prompt and seemed courteous, he went with maintenance to the room and supposedly fixed it. The next morning I really had to be somewhere. But the tub would not drain properly. I called the front desk several times and no one responded. Poor front desk service. I was told they just have one phone at front desk. The front desk did not pick up my calls. I thought they would return my calls knowing the missed call details - the front desk manager told me that there was no option on their phone to know who called and whose call they missed. The front desk manager was saying sorry but did not seem really apologetic. She told me that she was missing other customer's incoming call since she was speaking to me. May 7, 2015
