Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Under renovation This property is undergoing renovation and the registration area is a wreck right now. The staff was moderately friendly, but are trying to handle all registration check-in services, breakfast service, and back office business in one small space. I imagine they're as tired of it as guests are confused by it. While the guest space was clean and quiet, the trek to the elevator would benefit from frequent application of a vacuum. And hopefully the somewhat shabby guest spaces will also be remodeled in the near future. I'd give this property a pass until renovations are complete. September 22, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The pits I understand they are undergoing renovations--Lord knows it needs it. The room was outdated and the cigarette burns all over the carpeting was just flat out pitiful. There was no hot water to shower with either. It is the fist time I have stayed where breakfast was not included, especially for a Platinum member. Malissa, who was on evening duty, was just great. She did give me vouchers for breakfast in light of my being a Platinum Member plus not having any hot water to shower with, She gets an awesome rating from me and is a credit to Holiday Inn Management. I have not had the 500 points credited to my account as promised at check in either. September 10, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Went 100% non-smoking! I am a smoker whom constantly stayed at this hotel till now!! I was a consistent customer till now!! I have stayed at this hotel a tremendous amount of nights. I liked having a smoking room just like my house atmosphere. In talking with new GM, she told me the management was going non smoke. We'll they didn't confer with any customers at all. I know for a fact the smoking rooms were filled entirely every time I stayed at hotel. Being a Elite in IHG and Diamond in Honors tells how much I travel and look for my comfort rooms. Unless they have smoking rooms re-instated, I will not step foot on property again. I will stay at a hotel property across Glenwood Ave and stay there from now on, if needed. Completely dissatisfied with there decision to go non- smoking!! September 10, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very bad experience This hotel was under renovations or a complete makeover. In my opinion it should have been closed until the renovations had been completed. There were only rooms with regular size beds, no queens or kings! The pool, fitness room and airport shuttle were not operating due to renovations. I booked the room for an additional $10 nightly to include breakfast. The restaurant was not open for breakfast, lunch or dinner! The attendant did give me a credit for the $10. She was awesome and I felt sorry for her because she was getting so many complaints but she handled it all with a smile! September 5, 2015
