The lovely lady at the check in desk went above and beyond in giving me directions to local venues that I wanted to visit.

We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of downtown. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel offered parking in their private garage for $7/night which is reasonable. The only thing I would recommend to guests is to ask if they can get a room away from the elevators if they are early birds. We were close by the elevator and other hotel guests were loud late at night (bar closing time!) Very clean hotel. Close to the museums and some nice places to eat.

My mom, daughter and I traveled to Raleigh to take part of the Rock and Roll half marathon. Since we have never been to the city before I wasn't sure where would be the best place to stay. Boy did we luck out with this hotel, not only was it nicely maintained but it was within a short walk to the start/finish line of the race but within walking distance of anywhere we went. My mom and I both needed to use the wi-fi to complete school work and had no problems with the access. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodated our request for a late check out so we could change/shower after the race. The only complaint I had was that the elevators were a little slow since there were two for the entire hotel plus parking garage. I know that the race plus another convention was going on so the hotel was busy. It wasn't the end of the world but it did take some patience while waiting for one to show up. Overall, we all had a pleasant stay and would stay there again!
