Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Wonderful overall experience! Plenty of parking, felt safe. Near a nice park with walkways and local restaurants and bars in walking distance. Check in was quick and simple. Our room 328, was a corner king bed room, very comfortable, quiet, close to elevator but far enough away to not be bothered. We went to the hotel bar. My husband enjoyed crown & water while I tried a few different red wines. The bartender was very polite and provides great service, even during a rush when a local hockey game was over. We didn't stay for breakfast, but it did smell like it would have been great. One of our favorites was that we had the privacy please sign up, and housekeeping did not bother us, many properties we have a problem with that, and we normally check out before 9a. The entrance was nice. The bar area had just been remodeled it seemed and looked very nice. I will definitely be staying here next time I'm in the area. November 22, 2015

We stop at the Holiday Inn in Rapid City, We can always count on the room to be clean. The food is excellent in the restaurant. I recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting the areas. November 20, 2015

I got an upgrade due to my IHG status and it was everything I could have hoped for. It was a suite with 2 rooms, plenty spacious and excellent place to do work and relax. Great value for the cost--a very clean, professionally run property. November 20, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location for a large meeting The rooms must have foot-thick walls because I never heard anyone all three nights I stayed there. Fantastically comfortable queen sized bed. Good cleaner - she really spruced up my room. I am never a huge fan of room service because I think it's a price-gouge -- the food was a bit expensive but the burger and fries were very good. I'd order it again. My kids asked me to take a video of the two glass elevators in our state there are very few of those. Overall, I'd recommend it to someone else without hesitation. The location was a bit far if you wanted to walk to a nearby eatery, but there's a shuttle. November 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TDY When I arrived at the Rapid City-Rushmore Plaza, I was greeted by a friendly staff that expediously checked me in. They even upgraded my room for being a Platinum Elite member. When I got to my room, I was surprised by the space and decor, it was great! The following day I ordered lunch for a meeting through the hotel. For $14.00 I recieved a soggy rye sandwhich, wasn't to pleased. However, for dinner I sat at the bar and enjoyed a black and blue burger with fries for $13.00. It was humous to me that I paid a dollar more for soggy food. When I finaly checked out and returned home, I noticed $10.00 worth of parking charges, but I did not drive/park at the hotel. I called to have the charges dropped. I amn by the name of Victor (shout out to Victor# immediatly took care of the charges and sent me a new reciept via e-mail. Furthermore, while Victor helped me out, he used the word beautiful about 150 times, I also found this to be humourous. All in all, it was a great hotel with a great staff. In fact it was beautiful #again, shouting out to big Victor)! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rapid City. November 19, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Service and employees are all great. The best Hotel in town and looks very clean from the lobby to my room. Bobby in front desk who checked us in (with 3 of my co-workers) was very helpful to find us a rooms where he can put us in the same floor. November 15, 2015
