Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NO HOT WATER For someone that stays at Holiday Inn property's over 100 days a year for the past 10 years this stay was not the normal stay I've experienced in the past. One of the comforts for a traveler is a hot shower and friendly service from hotel staff, along with a comfortable room. This hotel is to nice a property to only meet one of these staples. This hotel has no hot water, luke warm at best less than 100 degrees, with the cold water temperature at 76 degrees, yes I went and bought a water thermometer, when taking a shower the temperature drops significantly. When brought to the hotel staff the on shift manager Jeremy agreed with me the water was not hot, and unacceptable, changed rooms and never checked to see if the problem was corrected. Which it was not. When I brought this to the desk personnel's attention no action was taken, not even a call. The Hotel maintenance engineer gave the excuse that this was a 40 year old building and couldn't be fixed. Nobody did anything about this situation the entire stay, When I asked to speak to the General Manager no call was returned, which was disappointing to say the least. If you stay at this hotel you are on your own, yes they have nice rooms, but if you have issues don't expect any help from the hotel staff or any of the support staff. May 23, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly service but multiple problems When we got in to bed the first night, we discovered the sheets had not been changed. There were hairs everywhere. They moved us to another room. We unpacked again and discovered the air conditioner was not working. They offered to send a maintenance man to fix it, but by then, we just wanted to sleep. We asked them to send him in the morning, which was a bad call on our part (too warm to sleep comfortably). It was fixed the following day. That night, there was no hot water for showers. We asked to have the charges for one night's stay removed from our bill, and they agreed to do that. We appreciated not having to haggle over it. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely Stay The hubs and I were getting away for the weekend and thought we would check out Rapid City. The location of the hotel to downtown was perfect. Front desk associates were friendly and efficient. Bar seemed potentially understaffed as we had to get up from our seats in the lounge area to go to the bar for drinks, but the staff that was there was helpful and friendly The hot tub could have been warmer Other than these few minor issues, it was a great stay. The facility is really beautiful, particularly the indoor waterfall. May 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by stay in rapid city the location was great, clean rooms friendly and well trained staff, the only thing I had an issue with was the air condition was not working, I did not report it until I checked out, so that was on me, I could of said something the first nights stay, but chose not to. other than that it is a great place to stay for business or pleasure.
