Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A quiet stay Mostly for business users we suspect, because it was quiet at the weekend. They don't have a pool, so they don't attract families. Meals were quiet and enjoyed. Staff were very nice. Large caravan retailer just across the road. Area close to Reading, Thames path and Kennet and Avon canal, but not too close to the noisy motorway. Pity they did not have a hot tub or two in the courtyard. February 26, 2015

The staff are engaging and helpful and make this hotel stand out from competitors. With an updated menu, the food is a delight to explore. However, the rooms could do with an update and the air conditioning is noisy and ineffective. February 22, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A business night Use the hotel regularly. It's OK but would probably stay at one of the others if I wasn't working on this side of Reading due to traffic. This is mainly due to the fact the the rooms have seen better days. Staff and service is as efficient as it needs to be. February 21, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Project Stay Feb 14 The staff are what made my stay, the hotel is a bit worn in places althopugh not grubby or bad, this may not be 4* but the staff make this a 5* experience by being helpful and understanding to your needs. The internet let this down, although I had a good signal it must be slugged as streaming was very patchy and yet I was near reception, not at the the end of the building. February 11, 2015
