The meetings I attended included a buffet lunch, which was quick and very good. My experience was due to the great staff who were always there. March 25, 2015

Comfortable bed, slept like a log. Big parking lot accommodated our truck/trailer towing combo which was a huge concern for us. Access to businesses in Redding was swift and easy. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by One of the better options in Redding Hotel feels old-fashioned, and the physical layout is terrible, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Restaurant was empty at dinner time, and we dined elsewhere (across the street), but they did a good job at breakfast, and were moderately busy then. Reception was quick and efficient. Our dog was welcome. March 9, 2015

Because I was there assisting a friend with a surgical procedure, the staff offered a room very close to and entrance. Very impressed with courtesy of all. March 9, 2015

I was greeted by the friendly manager who was warm and personable. The hotels was very close to restaurants. I would recommend staying at this hotel. March 4, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Well... When you first pull up to the property it looks great! You can definitely tell you're at a Holiday Inn and not a Holiday Inn Express. I tried to check in when I first got into town, which was a little early in their defense...and I was happy to go explore Redding for a few. Around 1-1:30 I called back to see if maybe by then they had a room ready...sadly, they did not. Now, being in the hotel industry, I know that housekeepers tend to arrive a little early and that travelers leave at all different hours of the morning...so I found it a little weird that they didn't have anything ready by then, especially for a rewards member. Finally, we were able to get into a room! Which was very exciting after being on the road for HOURS, and then having to get back into the car for a few more hours while housekeeping cleaned some rooms. Once in the room I had a hard time convincing myself that this property was, in fact, a Holiday Inn and not an Express. I've stayed at a LOT of Expresses and the cleanliness of the rooms, and the over-all conditions are WAY better than the room at this location. Everything was covered in a layer of dust, aside from the desk and the bedding. I also happened to look up while showering and noticed all the old shampoo/conditioner residue on the ceiling...wished I hadn't looked up haha. Also, I was going to make myself some tea with the complimentary tea bags that the brand provides, but sadly they had all been wet at some point and never replaced. The evening front desk clerk is a little misinformed about the services they provide, as well as the services that the local casino provides for guests. I was told that the casino would send out a cab for guests at the Holiday Inn, but once I called the casino I was told that the Holiday Inn was not included. Overall, I was disappointed with the quality, and the cleanliness...too bad I can't get my points back for this stay. March 2, 2015
