This is our second time staying at this hotel and both times were great! The staff is very nice and professional and check in was quick and easy. I requested and received an upper floor, quiet room away from the freeway. The room itself is very clean! The bed super comfy and the bathroom clean and roomy because there is also a second sink/counter area in the main room. I will stay here for any future trips to Redding and highly recommend it to others. If you are traveling with kids, they have a nice looking pool!

This is a new Holiday Inn property with all the trimmings. Hotel restaurant and bar, room service. This is my second stay at this location. The rooms are the biggest and nicest I've seen. My wife and I comment that we seem to have the best nights sleep at this hotel.
If you're passing through Redding, I highly recommend this property. Great location right off of I-5

I have stayed here before because pets are allowed and because I am loyal to IHG brands. I almost booked another hotel because of the memory of all the stairs but decided to give it a second chance. This stay left me feeling less loyal my next stay will be at a competitor. The hotel lacks an elevator/s and the bathrooms are very small. The hotel was built on a hilltop in the late sixties and is on many levels. It has been renovated and looks very nice but I am no longer willing to deal with the lugging suitcases up stairs.

I travel a lot for my profession and this location is my favorite. The facilities, staff and services are exceptional. I highly recomend the Holiday Inn on Hiltop in Redding, CA.

I was impressed that the member of staff who checked me in (Sumer) was so helpful. She asked what brought me to Redding and then without asking she printed out a map and directions for me to get me to my meeting. That's the kind of helpfuness that makes all the difference in you are travelling and in a hurry.

My wife is OCD about cleanliness which can conflict with traveling with our German Shepherd Dog. The pet rooms at this Holiday Inn are odor free (but do not smell like air freshener), and we do not find hair on the bedding, furniture or bathroom floor. The housekeeping staff is excellent!

We drove from Port Orchard, Washington to Redding and were hoping to have a nice place to stay - with our 2 dogs. The Holiday Inn fit the bill. Rebecca was at the desk and was very nice. Our room was perfect for an overnight but for the fact that one of the faucets leaked from the handle.
We enjoyed our Priority Club benefit of a complimentary drink. We had dinner in the restaurant. Susan was our server, and she did a fine job. Bravo for hiring such a great staff! and for accepting dogs.

We booked a room to recover from a harrowing drive down the mountain in heavy snow. It was a great feeling to be able to relax in our room. The staff helped us book a return room in case I-5 was closed. It has a nice restaurant and is conveniently located on Hilltop Dr.

This was our second time in one year and we found the property and its people very accommodating especially since we have a small dog and at only $10.00 pet fee is well worth the price. We will again stay here in the spring time as we make our way back to Oregon.

I have stayed at this Holiday Inn over the years and the service is always excellent. These people are with out a doubt top knotch.
I will alwyas stay at this property while in the area for business.

We felt the property was over priced for the value. Although this is a nice hotel, the cost to stay there (cash and reward points) was a bit high in our opinions. We stayed the night before at an off-brand hotel for much less that had the same amenities and cleanliness and the staff were terrific. The staff at this location were less than helpful or friendly; that's unfortunate because we travel through this area quite often on our way to the coast.

This hotel is located on a main thoroughfare, but the rooms are very quiet and comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting the surrounding area. The staff is very knowledgeable about their city, and they gave us excellent directions to the Sundial Bridge and Whiskeytown Lake National Park. We had two meals in The Braided Mane and enjoyed them very much. The wait staff is very pleasant and made excellent suggestions on the specials. This is a hotel we recommend and will visit again.

However i was deeply concerned when the attendent at the desk told us to take in all our valuables from our car because of recent breakin's in the area.
