Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Late booking Not a 4 star hotel room! Terrible room!
We have stayed at this hotel earlier and it was ok. This time however it was terrible. The room was so small that there was nor pom beside the beds. There was a 30 cm gap between the beds but that was all. It was hot and noisy.
If you think Holiday Inn has a fair value, think again!
The restaurant was closed on a Monday. The Hotel parking was full and the direction to the recommended car park was easy. Just 100 meters further on. However that Car Park was closed for refurbishment which the receptionist did not know!
Will never ever stay at that Hotel again!!

A very central location and comfortable bed. Nice views from restaurant on top floor. Parking in the garage involves the thrill of using the car lift.

This is a great hotel. Probably more 4 star than 5 star, but it's certainly a name to trust for a secure and comfortable stay. The bar on the roof is amazing. Had it not rained so much during our stay, we would have probably enjoyed it more. Conversely, The elevators are slow and the reception staff could do a better job directing guests, foreign travelers around the city.

Very good and newly renovated hotel with spacious clean rooms and modern equipment. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff and perfect central location for exploring Reims. On-site car park too (€11 per night)

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dickie123 Excellent location for travellers heading to south of France
We stayed here to break our journey from UK to south of France (both going and on return trip). Hotel is within 5min drive from main A26 road network. The hotel car park has limited parking space and is on two levels. To access lower level you need to use a car lift. My car just fit inside the lift! (Mercedes E class) so if you're driving anything bigger - you will be restricted to ground level car park only which gets full early. There is a public car park just down the road which looked secure (manned and CCTV). The hotel rooms are average, breakfast choice was limited, on our return visit a coach tour group pretty much ate all the food! The room service menu was poor (disappointing for a holiday inn) and there was no restaurant space in the evening due to coach party taking all seats in the restaurant. There is a good view of the town from the bar area which is worth paying a visit. We found a lovely restaurant called restaurant L'Apostrophe which catered for all cuisine types and reasonably priced near to the hotel. The old cathedral and town centre is defiantly worth a visit.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Traveller1978 Comfortable
The hotel was easy to find and central.
Comfortable bed and enough space.
The room I was given had a bad musty smell, which only really went away when the window was opened (and then the window wouldn't close again). Otherwise the hotel and services were good - the staff were friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant was tasty, and the bar has lots of local tipples, although only one champagne by the glass (in the Champagne region, I would have thought there would be more!)
One thing to note - the tea/coffee cups in the room were paper "takeaway" style. This really makes the place seem budget, whereas the rest of the hotel does not.
