We stayed here for one night October 30 and booked the 'Park, Stay, and Go' rate. It has easy access of the 405 highway and close to the airport. There is also a shuttle to and from the airport. We left the car for 9 additional nights at no charge, a terrific deal.
Check-in, by a lovely lady, was a breeze, I was acknowledged as a platinum member and received an upgrade to the top floor and a goodie bag. Also was informed that on the top floor was a 'snack', served from 5 to 7 #I think#, the 'snack’ was BBQ/teriyaki chicken, vegies and dip, beer and wine, the gentleman hosting was very hospitable and knew most of the other guests by name and welcoming them back, obviously business people who stay a lot.
Nicely made up rooms and very comfortable beds, had a very good sleep. Got the shuttle at 5:00 am the next morning, it was on time and we were at the airport, with instructions of where we should go, by 5:10 and then picked up 9 days later from the airport, both drivers were very polite and helpful.
I would defiantly stay here again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Garrobo51 Good Sleep
I was in the area on business, I have stayed at the property before and always had a good rest. The only nick was there were no vending machines for food, just soda, I wanted a quick bag of chips or something similar but no joy. I had to run across to the gas station across the street. I was told by one person that it may have been because there was a restaurant in the hotel, that is fine, but there are times you do not want to wait for something to be brought and also you may want to look at what you are offered.
There was a issue with the heating unit, they came and fixed it promptly, and not only that but brought a floor heater should there be a issue during the night after the service many left the property. I also needed a extension cord, one was provided very promptly.
Bed and room were nice and clean, and I was greeted well by the front desk person. The lack of a vending machine did not impact on the rest of my judgement because the other elements well outweighed the missing machines.

The location is good and the park and shuttle service is a big bonus. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is convienient and has a good selection of meals. I suggest bringing a large safety pin to help close the light blocking drapes as they will not close to anywhere near what you might want. Pinning then as high as you can will help a lot. A good value. An included breakfast would make it ideal deal.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RichD Very nice and centrally located
Stayed at this hotel because it was close to the airport and we had an early morning flight. Stayed on the 6th floor and it looks like that has recently been updated. Very comfortable. Do wish the pillows were larger for a king size, but that is the only minor thing and is personal preference.
Breakfast in the morning was pronominal and the staff was very friendly. Hot or cold breakfast options and excellent coffee to start the day off.

other than that, the experience was good.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dwepe Excellent Breakfast Buffet Included
Physically an older property but well maintained, big room, comfortable bed, but the best part was the breakfast buffet that was included with the room. Best breakfast I have seen in a long time at the hotels I regularly stay in. Custom ordered eggs or omelettes, fruit, juices, cereals and real thick bacon! Service was outstanding, everyone was friendly. It was a pleasant surprise.

The rooms are dark and need renovations. The front lobby is good and fancy but the rooms were not that great.
The staff is good, but when we checked out we were charged for the 2nd night more than the room was booked for.
Overall it was okay experience, but will not stay there again because the rooms aren't worth what you pay for.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by PurpleD Great Staff and Customer Service, Needs Remodeling and to be Cleaner
The hotels staff is great! They greet you well, answer all of your questions and even gave us a goody bag. I have stayed at this property many times and I have always liked the service, however, I feel that it is time for the property to be remodeled and a little more attention needs to be paid to cleanliness.
The floors in the hallway and the room had stains, the floor in the room felt sticky and there needed to be more attention on detail cleaning of the bathroom. Plus the toilet in the bathroom is very outdated and the mattress felt a little hard.
At this time, it is a great place for a one night stay but no longer than that.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by kristapb99 A bit worn; great breakfast
We were greeted in a prompt and friendly manner. The lobby was attractive, and had a gas log burning. We were given coupons for the buffet breakfast in the adjoining restaurant. The room itself showed signs of wear, and could use an upgrade, but the beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The room could use more/brighter lighting - it was kind of dark even with all the lights on. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with hot eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, bacon and sausage, a good fresh fruit selection, juices and breads. Best included hotel breakfast I have had in quite a while. The internet worked well.

I stayed 2 night here and don't have the temerature control by myself. It's a centralized temeprture control. Trying to save engegy is a ggod thing but It should let me control when I in the room. I called front desk 6 times during the 2 days still did not work. I only get a 2 degrees (F) up changed at the 2nd night. I am tired to call again and again. Will never come back again.

I would not stay at this hotel ever again when I am traveling to Seattle for business. The room was awful and needs to be totally updated. The bathroom was clean, and that is about all the good things that I can say about this hotel.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by rpsrps Not the Renton location again!
The WORST Holiday Inn property I have been in the last year.
I go to Seattle frequently. I could stay at this property often. I'd stay in a Marriott property before I'd stay at this location again.
Food quality is average at best. Food service is slow and unprofessional. Servers seemed to be very interested in some customers that appear to stay frequently ignoring others.
Room had no heat or A/C unit. Room was stuffy.
Poor example of a Holiday Inn property.....sad indeed.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Traveler5555 Great Staff, but rooms need serious renovation
I stayed for 4 days for business. The staff, both in the lobby and the restaurant, were excellent. But, the facility is deteriorating. As an ihg member, I was told I was being "upgraded" to a suite when I checked in. But, the room had no temperature control and although large, was more industrial than suite-like. In fact, the only thing different than my eventual room was a large table and a sofa. The room I ended up in was a regular room in the second building but was much nicer than the "suite".
When I asked about having the temperature control addressed, I was told all temperature in the rooms in the main tower were centrally controlled by "engineering" and if we wanted the temperature adjusted, the desk had to make an engineering request. They couldn't tell me what the current setting actually was. But, I was told I could move to the second building, which was newer and had independent temperature control in each room. So, I moved and was much more comfortable #the desk clerk handled this very well#. The restaurant food was average, but on the bright side the exercise room was large and well equipped. The staff is doing the best they can and the lobby area appears in good repair. But, unless they renovate the rooms #exposed pumbing for example#, I will not stay there in the future. I have had many better experiences at Holiday Inn express hotels and a full service Holiday Inn should be better.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Karendd2 Poor customer service. Staff did not arrange FedEx package pick up until evening
Had a one night stay, using my reward points, for a business meeting the next day.
I had called the front desk at 10 pm the night prior to checking out to ask if they could arrange a FedEx pick up the next morning. The night clerk said to call in the morning and the front desk would arrange it. Upon checking out at 7:15 am, as instructed, I ask the front desk if they could call FedEx to pick up an overnight envelope, Kyu - front desk agent wasn't very friendly nor helpful. He said we don't do that. (Really?# And said the night clerk should not have promised to do so. I said, I was here on business and needed to leave for a meeting and could they please call FedEx to pick up this envelope, an easy call for them to make.
Kyu totally dropped the ball. Perhaps he wanted to "teach me a lesson" when he said "If I had to get out a FedEx package, I wouldn't trust us to do so." So he sat on my package all day long!! When I was out of my all-day business meeting and called the hotel at 4:15 to confirm it had gone out that morning, Kyu had left for the day. It HAD NOT been picked up! The person I spoke with #didn't catch her name# said she would call Kyu and inquire. From my Tracking #, I learned that someone had driven my package to a nearby Kinko's/FedEx and it didn't get pick up until AFTER 5 pm, which means it's sitting there all day today and not arriving to its destination until Friday. Totally unacceptable. Esp. for a hotel catering to business clientele.
What was done well:
1. I called earlier the day of checking in to confirm my reservation with my Reward points was in order. I spoke with Sher, who was confirmed my reservation and was very helpful.
2. Easy access off of I-405 and plenty of parking.
3. Love the cucumber water and fruit water that greets guests.
4. Love the new Holiday Inn "remake" remodel across this chain. Very welcoming décor and lounge area.
5. Compliment breakfast buffet was very substantial, including omelets to order.
6. Rooms do have a nice size desk with WiFi.
Where they need to improve.
1. One clerk said something; another said something else.
2. Have the "to go" containers and cutlery next to the breakfast buffet. The wait staff had to return to the kitchen twice--once to bring a container; twice to get the plastic cutlery because she forgot the first time.
3. The rooms are not well insulated. I could hear coughing from the adjoining room and the traffic from I-405 roaring outside my window.
4. Despite my room on an Executive floor, the rooms are very tiny. No microwave, no fridge, no couch nor loveseat.
I usually enjoy staying at Holiday Inns. This one was not up to the HI standard. Not recommended!

I very much enjoyed my stay at your Hotel. The value is very good for the money, the room was clean and comfortable and your staff is exceptional. From my first call to Addeine (hope I am spelling her name correctly), who was working at the desk, to my departure, the hotel staff was the absolute best. She gave me exactly the room I requested when I arrived. Even when my iron malfunctioned and I requested some additional supplies for the room as well as another iron, the staff immediately responded in a friendly way with everything I needed....and they were extremely busy with other guests. I can't say enough about this Hotel! Grateful from Mobile, Alabama

I recently stayed at Seattle-Renton Holiday Inn for a nursing conference. I think it was a wonderful stay. It was very nice to just get up and go to the conference within the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good food and reasonably priced, and the bread pudding was excellent! My husband wanted to go for a midnight snack every night for the bread pudding. There were several small shops and restaurants within the vicinity for any other need you could have. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the housekeeping was done every day... Always a clean room and restocked daily. The cost of the stay was very reasonable, and even though we rented a car, I liked that there was a shuttle to take us anyplace if we needed. Thank you for a very decent stay and we will definitely be using your services again!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Boscaverde Hotel could use an update.
We stayed here for one night before flying out of Seattle. The lobby is really nice, but the rooms seem a little tired. Everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable, but the room just needed an update...it felt like a 30-year-old hotel room that someone had added new paint to. The bathroom was quite dated, and the air conditioner was very loud when it came on.
One nice thing is that the rooms were relatively large. (Not huge, but quite a bit bigger than the Holiday Inn where I spent the next night.)
Our room price came with a breakfast buffet at the attached restaurant. It was just OK...better than the standard continental breakfast, but nothing spectacular.
I would like to say that the staff was all very friendly.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mgf25 Hotel + Parking is a Win Win
We've stayed here twice in the summer of 2013. We liked our rooms both times and appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel room. The parking deal is also a real plus to this hotel. We've had great experience leaving our car here for extended time and using the hotel shuttle to get to SeaTac.
Our only complaint for both trips is the attached diner. The food is VERY good. But the service, set-up of the buffet and breakfast times, and the extreme under-staffing or lazy-staffing issues are very poor.
A morning breakfast ticket is included with your stay. So, you would expect that they are prepared every morning for an influx of people who are travelers/business/regular guests. NO. They are not prepared at all. The setup of the buffet station is horrible. All the serving trays are above eye level! TALL children can't see much less normal sized adults have to hold a plate at eye level to bring eggs/meat/gravy down to your plate! There is NEVER maintained food refills. Every time we've waited for the essentials. But most important...COFFEE!! It takes forever to get it brought to you if they even get to your table at all.
Two weeks ago, we were coming down at 9:35 in the morning. We waited at the hostess station for 5 minutes. Finally, a frazzled waitress came over to myself and two children and without a good morning greeting said "Are you having buffet because it closes in 10 minutes." ????WHAT??? That's nowhere near 10am AND what about offering that our ticket goes to breakfast a la carte? Like she should have done. SO we said, ok, we'll take buffet and take our chances and fill up. She seats us in a big table in the back because literally there are 15 tables covered in dirty dishes and backed up from no staff. She leaves. SHE NEVER RETURNS. No drinks, no clean silverware, nothing. I go up to ask the only waiter in the place who is trying his best to seat, take orders, bring out food, resupply the buffet. He frantically brings out coffee and a few rolls of silverware. But takes off again. We go to the buffet bar and the omelet chef says he'll make us some eggs b/c he doesn't know when the eggs will be brought back out...if ever. Even though there are 25 minutes left on the clock. More guests are pouring in...and waiting. One waiter is helping them all. Then a "bar waitress" casually comes out from the kitchen once in a while with a plate for folks ordering from the kitchen. Literally all 3-4 other waitresses/servers we saw at the very beginning have disappeared and NEVER return to the dining area...ever. Gone. Poof! So at one point there are about 40+ people with one server, zero food refills, no orange juice in the carafes (one of which is cracked down the side), dirty tables everywhere and a chef hidden behind the awkwardly set up bar buffet trying his best to make up for what he can see is poor service. I watch an older couple stand at the hostess station for about 10 minutes...wondering if they get to cash in on the breakfast they think is supposed to be running. PATHETIC! The crazy thing is, we at their evening menu and the breakfast food is really, really good! But just poorly organized, poorly run and with one very overworked server (older, glasses, Hispanic, and very patient and friendly) and a nice omelet chef who really doesn't have much control over anything else.
When I told the front desk of hotel, she says to me, "oh, I know. we hear about it. It's just with budget crunch and all." WHAT???? Give me a break. That's bull. She went back to her Smartphone promptly.
SO, please, know that it's a great place to stay but the diner needs some TLC and management practice adjustments to be considered worthy of a better rating.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by PiperD Very NOISY and lacked service excellence
Apart from doors that need to be banged to be shut which I have found a norm in most hotels, a huge passenger coach bus rolled up at 7:00am on Sunday morning right outside our window. It proceeded to back up with the typical loud beep-beep warning noise, and then to idol for 25 minutes right in front of the hotel. Since our window faced this way, we were awoken immediately, and not able to go back to sleep because the rumbling engine stayed right there without turning off.
I do hold the hotel accountable for this as they should have strict prohibition for this intolerable noise at that inexcusable time on a weekend. They should have regulations that would require a vehicle of this size to pull up elsewhere.
Furthermore, I did not find the front end staff overly friendly, plus the complimentary coffee out front on Sunday morning at 9:00am was empty.
Would not recommend or return. Way better competition in hotel chains out there.

The front desk staff was fine and our housekeeper did the best she could but the entire hotel needs a really good cleaning and updating! The stairway smelled horrible. The edges of the carpet every where was dirty. Room service trays were left in the hall for over 24 hours. The breakfast area was very dirty! In the lobby you could tell the furniture was not moved to clean under.
