I am super upset that my service dog was refused entry into this hotel. I have yet to contact the corporate office, but plan to do so ASAP.

My experience was not as bad as I was anticipating.
My bed was pretty comfortable. The restaurant next door was pretty tasty. And one of the girls there gave me a little bit of a hard time when I tried to cancel another room I booked. It clearly says cancel 24 hrs before 6 pm. Finally I did get that roomed cancelled. Other than that, I would definitely stay there on my trips to follow in Reynosa.

I went for business and I really enjoyed staying at Holiday Inn Zona Dorada, all your associates are wonderful, always ready to support you, front desk, restaurant, and the shuttle driver very helpful.

I stayed at this property for four nights (July 23-27, 2013) and the level of quality has gone "significantly downhill". Grumpy service, green inexperienced staff with apparently high turnover. The rooms have no clocks and only minimal towels. There is no courtesy coffee in the morning and almost no toiletries. When I asked for an electronic copy of the bill to be sent to my email I got no response in spite of two long-distance phone calls. The quality of the food used to be really good but not any more, replaced by inferior fare and cost cutting.
My recommendation- don't stay here!
